Milkbee's ears perked up at the mention of her name, and the she-cat was almost instantly on her paws. A patrol! Niceeee... She loved patrols! She really couldn't stress how much she loved patrols.

"Hi! I'm here, I'm here! Should we get going now?" Milkbee approached the cats she'd been assigned to a patrol with, grinning widely. She was practically vibrating with anticipation. She wanted to leave NOW!

Mothflame's mouth twitched slightly as she along with a pawful of other cats were assigned on a single patrol. That was... Quite new. She hadn't expected there to be such many cats on a singular patrol, but hm, who was she to judge? She padded towards the cats that were already there and sat, a curt nod of greeting directed to each one.

...keep watch all night? For a week? Absolutely not. Honestly, the fact that Spiderthroat is pulling both Hollowpaw and Wolfhawk on this stupid patrol is enough to get him raising an eyebrow. What happens if something happens and one of them is needed here? He has half a mind to question the deputy, but he keeps his mouth shut. He's done enough damage with his perceived standing among the rest of leadership by opening his mouth.

They've got a whole lot of prey to catch today, though, because Hollowpaw refuses to accept that stupid penalty for being the lesser hunting patrol. He is not lesser. Besides, maybe stupid Carrioncaller's useless hunting lesson might prove some use after all. Not that he'd ever tell the mink point. Anyway. Hollowpaw wanders over to wait by Spiderthroat for the rest of the patrol, long tail coming to rest over his front paws as his characteristic scowl makes a home on his maw.

Ravenfire walked over as soon as she heard her name.
A border patrol was fine, simple.
Also, Sunpaw would be here.
She hadn't seen her in... a while.
She is definitely glad she's alright, though.

Also, her own apprentice, which may prove to be useful in training... she thinks.
She stood and waited, glancing at Silverleopard and nodding a tiny greeting.

And wait. And wait. Mudhounds folded ears couldnt pin but given how long it took Milkbee to show up they were sure it wasnt needed by this displeased expression. This was the cat Risingstorm was enthralled with? Oh boy.

Grumpy now the hornet did not respond to Milkbees greeting, only standing and leading the group out to the territory, unwilling to get punished for being late.

..... Ok so they listened but Mudhound could fully admit they didnt understand how Spiderthroat ran patrols at all. Confusing but as long as the tripod wasnt the head, leading the group, they could just follow the leader and do what they did.

Also was Spiderthroat trying to risk a freak accident wiping out 3/4 of the clans high ranks and a hornet to boot? This just felt like tempting the gods AND Hollowpaws ire.

But Mudhound wasnt really thinking about that, instead their face was visibly dropping to abject depression at the announcement of where they were going. Sunkissed creek, where the quarantine cat so recently was and where Mudhound had watched their mate and nephew die. They hadnt gone back there since then, couldnt, felt sick even approaching. And now Spiderthroat expected them to hunt there?

The tripod flinched, shying back and hesitating when before they were a little befuddled but just fine with going on a patrol.

They were getting better but going there was too much too fast....

The black and red molly pricked her ears at the call and came eagerly running over, only to slow down and twist her face at the mention of their destination. Smallpines itself was fine, but it meant having to get near those awful Riverclanners! Not only do they and their markings reek of fish, but they had recently caused so much trouble for Thunderclan that she was almost looking forward to a fight.

"With a patrol group like this? You won't ever have to doubt we'd finish their fight!" Minkvenom responded to Spiderthroat, thumping a proud paw on the ground. Of course, she was referring to herself in that sentence, and Hornetpaw too (since an apprentice is only as good as their mentor), but she wasn't sure about the rest of this group. She sat her tailless hind down on the ground and waited for the others, envision how she'd take on the Riverclan cats, if they thought to challenge them today.

”Oh. Okay.” Nettlepaw murmured to herself, a blank expression on their face.
They still felt numb after Ashwhisper’s exile, but maybe.. just maybe.. a hunting patrol could help them feel better? Nettlepaw did love hunting, anyway. And the given challenge seemed.. generally fun.

“When do we go?” they asked quietly.

What what???????? A patrol????? Huh????? Mantispaw poked her head out as her dad started calling out patrols. Geez! There were soo many cats on each patrol. And of course she was on one. This would be fun! Especially with Cloudedpaw. She happily ran over and looked at everyone. There was another apprentice other than Cloudedpaw. And three warriors! Wow!

"Hiya! I'm so excited!!!" She told Cloudedpaw. This was her first patrol!
