Lynxpelt sat in the clearing, grooming himself. The sunlight cast through the branches of the trees dappled his fur, making his ashy grey pelt reflect like silver.

Peachfuzz slowly slunk out of the nursery, the young queen looking at Lynxpelt with a smile before grasping a small mouse

Lynxpelt caught the eye of Peachfuzz slinking outside of the nursery. He gave a small smile in return to her. He stalked his way to the freshkill pile, taking a mouse. He walked over to her and sat next to her. "How are the kits?" he asked.

Darkfur began helping Piperpaw. "How do you like being an apprentice so far?" she mewed.

Peachfuzz sighed, the queen still was expecting, but it would be soon. "I swear I think they already are using their claws!"

The tom purred in amusement. He watched as the she-cats belly rippled ever so slightly with the kits movement inside. "Soon enough they will be here" he said joyfully. "That's gotta be exciting".

The fluffy, small queen sighed, smiling. "I just hope they'll be strong.. that's really all I want." She sat next to him, groaning slightly.

Peachfuzz purred, smirking at Lynxpelt as she playfully batted him. "Careful there boy, cats might think you're flirting" She teased, squaring her shoulders as she sighed happily.

Lynxpelt ducked his head as she batted him. He gave a playful mrrow. "We wouldn't want that now would we?" he purred.
