Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Shrewpaw wanted to melt. It was clear the warrior thought he had failed, that he couldn't handle himself even against this minnow of a cat, and so he was calling off the fight. The other apprentice was probably going to get yelled at, but Shrewpaw really didn't care. He failed. He messed up. He was weak. He had thought he had gotten so much better, so much tougher, but he hadn't. He was still weak. Nodding to Yellowsnarl and giving Frogpaw a curt I'll be fine thanks. he turned and headed back to camp with no intention of getting his wound checked at all. Go and show EVERYONE how weak he was? No way! @Russetstorm @feather lily

Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Arg Shewpaw got her straight in the nose! If she was any other warrior she'dve yelped bit Adderfang was made of stronger stuff and remained quiet. She still lost his tail though. Well even if he escaped her it hardly mattered the battle had only just began.
The warrior was consciously mimicking what little she knew of Dawnstars fighting style brutal strikes, minimal dodging (especially against a smaller foe) and a tendency to try and pin. With the knowledge of how to escape pins Shewpaw wouldn't have to worry as much about the last bit but it was the first he'd have to watch out for and the second he'd have to capitalize on. Dawnstars lack of dodging meant he could more easily land smaller blows and if he was smart wear her down as long as he was fast and agile enough to keep away. But the brutal strikes to every weak spot he had was a special kind of hell. A charge and lunge at his throat, a reached up paw to swipe at his ears transitioning into a reared up hug to try and crush him with her weight. Just a rapid barrage of ruthless attempts at hitting the apprentice until. Instinctively reaching out with a back paw aiming to score a line down Shrewpaws stomach, a gutting blow, and not a legal one. It was a move she hadnt used for years, one she despised and even with her claws sheathed she stopped herself mid move slamming the paw down with a jerk. This fighting style did not agree with the warrior, reminding herself of a dark time in her past. But Shrewpaw needed to learn to adapt to this style so she shoved it down. @gs29513 |

@Kipo Oak
Nightshadow padded to the training cliffs. She and Snakepaw were going hunting today. The black she-cat sat down next to a log waiting for Snakepaw to show up. She just got there so he should be right behind her, probably almost there by now. |
Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
He was running towards the stump, I'm late! he thought to himself once he got there he said to Nightshadow, "Sorry I'm late." he said in a flat tone (He's always depressed lol) @Mia

Nightshadow looked at Snakepaw. "No, your just on time," she meowed, looking at her apprentice with amber eyes. "We're going to do some hunting today. Just be quiet or you might just scare the prey away." She flicked her tail to a lizard running on the ground. "Do you know how to do a hunting crouch?" |
Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
He tried but, it was off a bit, "Is this is?" @Mia
