Buckpaw happily began to walk back in the direction of the roots. He was getting a little tired, but at least he had a nice flow of gathering items. He had just caught a rabbit (very surprising to himself) and he found a clover. Two items down in one go. Buckpaw placed the two things with the other items before turning to Nightpaw. "We're really close to finsihing!"

Nightpaw sniffed the air. Maybe she could catch another. She smelled a shrew nearby and dropped into a crouch. Drawing smoothly up to the bush the scent was coming from, she dashed into the branches. She glimpsed the shrew darting away and lunged after it. Grasping it with a paw, she dragged it over and killed it. The kill was a bit messy, but a catch was a catch. She speared a leaf from the bush, remembering that was on the list as well, and deposited them in the store. Nightpaw purred as she saw Buckpaw with the rabbit. "Yeah. I'm not sure what else we need."

Mistypaw rolled a 6!
You head back close to camp and sniff around, catching a strong scent of shrew. You follow the scent and soon spot the shrew. You catch the shrew cleanly, proud of yourself. You then spot a rock and look at it, realizing it's smooth. You pick it up. Two items down!

Thistlethorn rolled a 3!
You follow your apprentice and watch happily as she catches a shrew and finds a smooth rock. You sniff the air and catch, surprisingly, a whiff of rabbit. You follow the scent and soon catch the rabbit. One item down!

Buckpaw rolled a 3!
You padd left and right trying to remember what else you and Nightpaw needed when you step on something. You look at the thing and realize it's a smooth rock. You pick it up and take it to Nightpaw. One item down!

Nightpaw rolled a 6!
You look at Buckpaw as he brings a smooth rock and you remember that a jagged rock is on the list too. You carefully look around and spot something pointy. You padd over to it and see it's a jagged rock. You do your best to roll it back to Buckpaw when you spot another item. You padd over to it and see it's a poppy {The full flower, not just the seeds}. You pick it up carefully and continue to roll the jagged rock over to Buckpaw. Two items down!

Since the event is so close to being done, here is how many items and which items each team still needs.

Mistypaw and Thistlethorn: You just need two items, the poppy plant and the jagged rock.

Buckpaw and Nightpaw: You just need one item, the stick near the weeping tree.

Buckpaw padded back to where they had stashed their items and set the smooth rock down. "I got another thing on the list! Or, at least I think it's on the list." He said as he inspected the smooth rock, it was just so shiny and smooth.

"Ooh, that's nice." Nightpaw examined the rock. She also remembered that they needed a jagged rock and meowed to Buckpaw, "I'll go find a jagged rock. We're so close!" Bounding through the trees, she soon came across a sharp rock sticking out of the ground. After digging around it to loosen it up, she pried it free. She began to roll it awkwardly back to Buckpaw when she spotted a poppy plant. Remembering that was another item they needed, she plucked the stem and held it in her mouth while rolling the rock. "Found it!" she finally meowed breathlessly. @rosetherosey

Buckpaw and Nightpaw rolled a 3!
You guys run towards The Weeping Tree and you quickly look around for a stick and you guys find one together. You quickly try your best to pick up every item and you hurry back to camp.

You luckily find a jagged rock and a poppy plant nearby and you pick them up. You and Mistypaw { @Moon Kit} pick up the items and you hurry back to camp.

Nightpaw surveyed the items they had collected. "I think all we need is a stick!" she mewed excitedly to Buckpaw. "Come on!" She dashed toward the Weeping Tree. @rosetherosey

(Sorry for the late reply, got caught up in personal stuff)

Buckpaw looked around furiously for a stick. "If we find it, I think we can be the first to get back to camp with all of our items!" He mewed hopefully as he jumped around, looking for a stick. There were probably hundreds of them but whenever you're looking for something it's almost impossible to find it.

Nightpaw nodded, her eyes darting around as she searched for a stick. Letting out a cry of triumph, she spotted a branch several taillengths away. Dashing toward it, she quickly snapped off a twig with her jaws. Eyes gleaming at Buckpaw, she meowed, "Found one! Let's head back to the other stuff." @rosetherosey
