"Cmon, lets go inside," Kion pulled back and smiled at Kila.
"Right. I'll see you in class." Kila nudged him with a smile before bounding inside.
Kion chuckled, glancing back before following his sister.

Chaka made his way through the school, ears pricked up. He wound his way around other animals, glancing toward the tigers almost in suspicion. His mind drifted to Kion, and a smile twitched at his lips.

"Oh yeah,
Oh yeah,
Oh yeah...
I'm an angel with a shot-gun, shot-gun, shot-gun....
An angel with a shot-gun, shot-gun, shot-gun......." Chaka narrowed his eyes, watching a few tigers suspiciously from afar, tail flicking side to side.

"Get out your guns, battles begun.
Are you a saint, or a sinner?
If loves a fight, than I shall die,
With my heart on a trigger....." He watched for a few moments before turning, scanning the halls for Kion. Probably still outside.

"They say before you start a war,
You better know what you're fighting for.
Well baby, you are all that I adore,
If love is what you need, a soldier I will be." He straightened up, raising his head.

"I'm an angel with a shotgun,
Fighting til' the wars won.
I don't care if heaven won't take me back." He shot off down the hall, ears flicked back.

"I'll throw away my faith, babe, just to keep you safe,
Don't you know you're everything I have?
And I, wanna live, not just survive, tonight." He slid past a tiger, his eyes narrowing faintly. He was going to do that to every tiger, study them, make sure they were safe for Kion to be around. You can never be too careful.

"Sometimes to win, you've got to sin.
Don't mean I'm not a believer." He bared his teeth at the tiger, but it was somewhat playful. The tiger returned it with a mock growl, turning back to his friends with a lighthearted chuckle. Chaka nodded in approval, turning away.

"And major Tom, will sing along.
Yeah, they still say I'm a dreamer." He chuckled to himself, looking around. His eyes locked on a suspicious looking tiger, eyes hardening.

"They say before you start a war,
You better know what you're fighting for.
Well baby, you are all that I adore." He glanced away, making sure Kion wasnt around before he crossed forward.

"If love is what you need, a soldier I will be!
I'm an angel with a shotgun,
Fighting til' the wars won!
I don't care if heaven won't take me back!" He bounded past the tiger, shooting it a suspicious glance.

"I'll throw away my faith, babe, just to keep you safe!

And I, wanna live, not just survive, tonight." He turned a corner into another hallway, ears pricked as he shot some more tigers some warning looks.

"Oh, oh whoa whoa oh whoa.
Oh, oh whoa whoa oh whoa.
Oh, oh whoa whoa oh whoa.
Oh, oh whoa whoa oh whoa..." He raised his head.

"I'm an angel with a shotgun,

"I'll throw away my faith, babe, just to keep you safe!

And I'm gonna hide, hide, hide my wings, tonight!" He skidded to a stop and looked up, smiling when he saw Kion through the crowd. His blue eyes flickered to Kion's amber ones. Amber....My favorite color.

(Bunga should walk into the classroom to find Atazi crying, Mangu attempting to comfort her, and Uzuri being mad.)

Atazi suddenly broke down into tears, just as Mangu fluttered in.

Uzuri lost focus and all of the water fell on her head. she sputtered and gasped, then went frantic "Oh no, please don't cry! I-I don't know how to fix crying!"

"Cha!" Kion grinned, bounding up to him.
"Hey, Kai!" Chaka padded forward, touching his nose to Kion's briefly. "Doing okay so far?"
"No tigers have tried to talk to me, so yep," Kion smirked cheekily.
Chaka laughed, nudging him. "You know i'll keep you safe."
"I know." Kion said warmly. "Thanks, Chaka. For everything." He went silent for a moment. "When I was little, I always thought it was my family I could never live without. But....They're gone. And you're here. And im alive. So...It must be you."
Chaka's throat felt tight, but he smiled anyway. "I'd take a bullet for you."
"No. Chaka, I love you." Kion padded forward and reached up, pressing his head under Chaka's chin. Of course the words were supposed to mean just as best friends, right? Thats all. Nothing more. Chaka doesnt like me like that. Still though, right now he could pretend that he was Chaka's and everything was amazing, like it should be. He didnt care what they were, as long as he knew he had Chaka beside him. And he did. He always would.
Chaka closed his eyes, a warm feeling spreading through him, but he forced himself to remember that Kion meant the words as nothing more than just best friends. Kion doesnt like me like that. But still, that didnt stop Chaka from pretending that Kion was his at that moment. They had eachother, whether they were best friends or not. Chaka didnt care as long as Kion was there with him.

"Yeah. I love you too, Kion."

Kion smiled and pulled back. "As long as I can remember, you've always been right here." He kicked at the ground with a paw. "Even when I didnt deserve it. You gave me everything, you gave me a reason to keep trying. I owe my life to you, Chaka. You've saved it countless times. I dont know where i'd be without you....I dont even think i'd be alive. No. I know I wouldnt be alive." He sighed, then looked up at the older cub and smiled warmly. "But I am, because of you."
Chaka found himself unable to speak at first. He sniffled, then groaned. "Dang it Kion you're making me cry."
"Sorry," Kion laughed, shaking his head in amusement though he was blinking back tears of his own.
Chaka only chuckled, reaching out and bringing the younger cub closer to him with a paw. "You really know how to make me emotional, dont you."
"I know you better than you know yourself." Kion teased, resting his head on Chaka's shoulder.
Chaka snorted at his best friend, before smiling. "And I know you better than you know yourself."
"And you always seem to know exactly what im feeling, and what to say." Kion chuckled, shutting his eyes. "Is there anything you cant do, Mr. Perfect?"
"I'll let you know when I find out." Chaka murmured with a grin.

Bunga was doing a handstand, the honey badger walking into the classroom like that. He paused and did a frontflip to land on his feet, looking around before his eyes rested on Atazi, and widened in both confusion and curiosity.
