@BEAR.

Fallingpaw chuckled "Might as well be." he said playfully as he grabbed some ferms and patched up the walls to the den and adding the thorns on the outside for supports

The thorns were an interesting choice, it'd never occurred to Wolfhive to do that. "You aren't worried those'll fall out 'n hurt someone?" Seemed like an easy way to rack up Springbee's workload.. though the concept alone of pinning the den walls wasn't bad.

Fallingpaw shrugged "they might I can take them down and we can reuse them for the apprentices den." he said as he carefully brought down the thorns with only a few ferns falling that he would put back up

"Wouldn't that be the same issue, though? The thorns?" Wolfhive almost whacked himself in the face. He'd forgotten they needed to stop by the apprentice den again to fix the entrance... Well, that'd be something they could do in a moment. "All it'd take is an apprentice being rowdy, knocking into a wall and popping them out.. and bang, someone's got it in their paw." Hmm... "The idea is good, we just might wanna find something less likely to harm someone."

Hmm.. "You could try sticks. You can weave grass around them to help keep them in place." Grass was everywhere, so Wolfhive wasn't that concerned with having to take a trip out of camp over it.

"Yeah, sounds good." This den was in better shape than the other to begin with, probably because elders' were a bit less lively than kids. Wolfhive beckoned him to join him as he headed for the apprentice's den. "Just gotta finish up that one spot 'n then we can hit up Bumba."

Falingpaw smiled and walked off to the apprentice den as ThornTail waved goodbye

| Sprucejumper |
Kitty Softpaws - Active | Ultimate Predator - Inactive | Agatha Kitty - Active

A wad of moss in maw, Sprucejumper padded into the elders' den, emerald hues sporting an oddly critical look on them. The tom felt like staying in today. An oddity, considering his penchant for leaving the comfort of the camp's walls the moment he woke up, taking to hunting or patrolling from the canopy above. He was always quiet. Always lonesome, but he didn't mind. Of course he didn't mind. He had already come to terms with the fact that the best way to survive was to lead a life without useless bonds tying you down. The Boulder was the exception to this rule, and he would of course die for them... but they had been busy with Chatty the Usurper. Which led to the young tom finding himself with little to do even on the off chance of him taking a day to himself.

And so he found himself here. Ready to fix a den that... had evidently been fixed recently. Well... that was a waste of his time. And here the thought he would put his moss working abilities to use. Maybe he could take the time instead to make little moss toys for the little ones? Well... littler than him. He hadn't seen any cat other than Cattibal do toys for the clan, and he seemed to have been long gone. The young tom had reminded him of his littermates some, especially Brownie. He had thought there might be a small connection there for some time, but just like Brownie, this ThunderClanner had left him as well. Not that he blamed him, necessarily. Not anymore. Everyone left in the end.

A scowl marring the tom's face for a moment, he scoffed, sitting down as he dropped the moss, forming little, soft balls, expert paws slowly molding them into something more. He had given The Boulder one of these little gifts once, and the feline had been ecstatic, just like Sprucejumper himself had felt the day he had received his own moss figures. The ones he still kept. The ones that had stood in for his family in lieu of a real one. They sufficed. At least they never let go when you most needed them. And who knew... if he had understood this reality of life since so young an age... perhaps another did too. Maybe there were some kits who could use with substitute family members so their nests wouldn't feel so cold and empty in the dead of night. He'd leave them up for grabs in the nursery once he was done. Swiftly. The last thing he needed was grabby kitten paws clinging to him while he was trying to leave toys for them, thank you very much.

@dino. [Bumblestar]
| The lad is yet again making toys for the nursery denizens. Have at him. :laughing: |
