Rainburst looked down at the few lines of her diagram. It really was great? To her, it was nothing more than a few lines and squiggles. Rainburst added another line to one side, but it didn't do much.

After a bit of hesitation, Rainburst swiped a paw over the entire drawing, erasing minutes of her work in a matter of seconds. She turned to face Snowfire.

"Hey, how about we make a new diagram together?" Rainburst meowed excitedly, her tail swooshing from side to side on the ground in a habit she only did when she had a good idea.

This was more fun than border patrol! Everyone thought it was odd that she liked border patrol, but she did. When she got back, she would always draw a map of the territory. "After this, I have something to show you." Snowfire was certain. She knew she finally found someone who shared her passion for maps. She was going to show Rainburst her secret drawing cave. This cave was hidden so well, that the patrols didn't know about it. She drew and kept all her maps there. "I have a secret map drawing cave!" she said proudly.

"Ok so It's a bit hard to find." She meowed " We have to go behind the warriors den and then walk straight till we get to a clearing. When we get there, thats where the cave is! So come on! Lets go!"

"When did you find the cave?" Rainburst asked Snowfire as she followed behind. She was curious. She'd never found this cave in all her 13 moons here. What had made Snowfire discover it? Or create it?

"Well, it's kind of embarassing to say out loud because it shows how clumsy I am, but I fell into it. I was chasing a sqirell and it climbed a tree and escaped, so I was looking for more prey and wasn't watching my paws." Snowfire was a very clumsy cat and she knew it

Rainburst shrieked when she fell, flying almost comically through the air and landing with a painful thud. Rainburst made an almost overdramatic gasp. "Of course!!!" She yowled, her voice high pitched and loud. Rainburst's eyes widened at his terrifyingly loud she was being, so she quickly lowered her voice. "I mean, of course." Rainburst said with a nervous smile.

She bounced quickly after Snowfire imnto the cave. Which wasn't at all dark, scary, mysterious in a bad way, or anything else. Rainburst wasn't afraid of the dark at all! How could she be, she was a Shadowclan cat! It was impossible!

But her fears quickly vanished. And Rainburst gasped again, this time at what she saw.

The cream-colored tabby bounded into the Warrior’s Den, humming a bit under her breath. The skies seemed to be clear today, which meant no rain, and that meant that her fur wouldn’t go completely crazy! It was the perfect excuse to be happy! Rainburst beamed. Yes, it was the perfect excuse! She noticed a cat, suddenly, sitting quietly on a nest. She hadn’t seem him around. Well, time to say hello!

Nightwing walked into the Warrior's Den. First day as a ShadowClan warrior. He wasn't sure if he will ever get his she-cat habits out of him. He sat down at an empty nest and watched the other cats. (open)

Rainburst blurted out the whole thing in one breath, so she was left gasping for air. But she recovered quickly and blinked, sitting and waiting for Skyclaw’s response. Oh, she probably did make an assumption, didn’t she? Oh, she did.

"I only really heard like a few words because you talked too fast and that you were jumping up and down. Slow down and calm yourself. Your acting like a kit!" Skyclaw stood up and looked at her, showing that he was not angry at her, just wondering.

Rainburst blinked. Well. She didn’t quite know what she had been expecting, but it hadn’t been that. She wrinkled her nose. Rainburst had literally just become a warrior, she had hadn’t much time to think about mates and kits and all that jazz. She frowned, thinking hard.

“So,” Rainburst started, “I know nothing about being a parent. But I guess if you want to become a father all you have to do is find a mate. Although, you have to think about if you’re ready yet.” Rainburst remembered her own parents. Her mother had been strict, but her father had been kind. Together, they made good parents.

Skyclaw nodded. "I know," He mewed, pawing the ground angryly. "I've been thinking about it for a while. But I'm not really sure if I'm ready. I... don't think I'm ready for a mate. I've already got my own apprentice to worry about." He sat down, thinking hard.

Rainburst made a sound like a laugh. “If you feel ready to be a father, then don’t be a father!” she stated bluntly. “How old are you? You look young, like me. So you have all the time in the world! Don’t be rash. Think about it.” Rainburst suggested.

She sat down, figuring she might have to for this. Rainburst herself had never thought much about being a mother. She didn’t feel ready. So she wasn’t going to be a mother. Besides, Rainburst didn’t think she’d make the best of mothers.

She frowned, and decided she’d clean it off later, focusing back in on the conversation.
