Re: Cattail Pond
~Silentheart of RC~ Silentheart*blinked at the weird silence that bounced between the pair. He nervously grabbed a pebble nearby out of habit then started to fumble with it but made sure to be mindful of not making too many scratching noises.*Pebbles were a go to if he needed something to help him with social representation. The tabby watched as Beanpaw went to fluff themselves out as he conducted a careful reply. "Mmm..jj-just mm-my firstt day aa-as www-warrior," he replied trying to control his nervous feeling, "wwwha yy-you wanna dd-do?" { @elysian } |
Re: Cattail Pond
Leopardpaw sat at the edge of the water, peering into the depth where little minnows were swimming. He was awaiting his first official fishing lesson, although he had done it himself before. He definitely wasn't the best, however. He blinked and shook his head as he accidentally let his nose tap the water. Sitting back up, he drew a paw across his face and awaited Fennelheart.

Re: Cattail Pond
Leopardpaw nodded as his mentor approached and adjusted his stance to avoid casting his shadow on the water. He looked back at the pond, watching carefully for a larger fish.

Re: Cattail Pond
-- @hope -- NO! This was not their intention! Eelpaw could only stare as Mr.Crazy began to weep. They'd not meant to make Mr. Crazy bawl! That was not like... it was not.. it was not useful! And they had no clue how to react. How did you comfort someone? Eelpaw had never learned that and the black tabby apprentice slowly made their way over and then patted Dayheart's back before offering up their tail as a rag for Mr.Crazy to use for his eyes. Was this comforting? If so, Eelpaw was very good at it. They were very very good at it. But what mattered was that they were being useful and by attempting to comfort Mr. Crazy they were being useful. "Can you stop crying its making me uncomfortable?" the uncomfortable bit was also included in the question, were they really feeling uncomfortable? Eelpaw didn't know and well, they didn't know a whole lot in all truth so they were just going to.... try. An agreement, a treaty with Mr. Crazy? They weren't entirely sure on wherever that would go wrong or good and they needed to consult someone about if it was a good idea or a bad idea. But they could had themselves and well they didn't want to have a bawling Mr. Crazy again so therefore they just nodded along and said, "yes yes, whatever yes. but rocks are not useful. so i don't want to learn how to find pretty rocks. i want to learn how to fish, and fight and not die." That was their own requirements. Were they even allowed to put in requirements? They didn't know but well, they'd just done so! "But i'm not sane how can I make you sane?" It didn't even make sense to Eelpaw so how it would make sense to Dayheart was beyond them but if he somehow draw to conclusions based on what Eelpaw did and that would make him more sane? that would be fine... just Dayheart shouldn't rely on Eelpaw to cure his stupidity because Eelpaw was quite sure that stupidity couldn't just be cured. Could it be cured? Should they be useful and find a cure for stupidity? Maybe. But they did really want to learn something here so they pointed towards the pond and the area surrounding it. "Can you teach me how to land hunt? we can find a puddle afterwards. You already taught me the crouch, is there more to know?" |
Re: Cattail Pond
[ @FERMENTED_CHEESE; ] Ashpool had wondered outside of the camp to take a little walk away from her clan. She had never really been to Cattail pond before, so this was her first time She was just making sure she would be able to make it back to camp. Ashpool was known for getting lost. She guessed age was just getting to her even if she wasn't very old. The molly stopped when the scent of a clanmate filled her nose. "Hey Feathermask. Enjoyng the beauty of the pond?", she asked. |
Re: Cattail Pond
@Siren Bliss Ears perking up and swiveling back towards the warrior, Feathermask gave Ashpool her attention . "yeah! Hey ashpool " she greeted back. She gave the Molly a friendly and maybe contagious smile, although she raised a brow . "what are you doing out here? Do you have an apprentice to train?" she's heard of other cats using this spot as a training area so she figured that could be the case. |

Fennelheart nodded,” Catching fish takes time, and patients. When you scoop aim lower than you need to, for some reason they always are deeper than they appear.” she meowed hopeful that this would go fast. |
Re: Cattail Pond
[ @FERMENTED_CHEESE; ] Ashpool didn't want to admit she had just been wandering around, trying to get used to the territory with her bad sense of direction. She wasn't one to appear weak not when Nightmare had been her father. "I do have an apprentice, but I decided I wanted to take a walk. I really love any form of water. Their always so beautiful.", she meowed. |
Re: Cattail Pond
@Siren Bliss what's so bad with a break now and then She gave an understanding nod and offered Ashpool to sit with her with a swish of her tail. "They are beautiful , lionsbeach is the best place if you ever just want to relax and hear the waves. But I've not been out here as much so ...I figured I'd visit " that was sort of the truth. It was also a place for her to think to herself. When there weren't any apprentices about." are you ready for Leafbare again?...." she asked as she looked at the fallen crunchy leaves. Every day it was getting colder..she hated it. |
