Oh God.. She really wanted to say something but all that would come out was small mumbles, does he feel the same way? those words echoed in her head, she shuffled her paws.. What should she do next?

Lynxpelt took a deep breathe, to stabilize himself. He padded over to the fresh-kill pile quickly, picking up the largest mouse and walked back over to Spiderwillow. "We can share," he mewed, tilting his head as if asking her if she wanted some. The butterflies in his stomach were throwing him off but he remained calm and stable.

Is this a sign? Or am I overreacting.. she thought intensely as the tom scurried back with a large mouse, Sure! she managed to meow without acting weird. When she took the first bite, everything strangley calmed down. The tom smiled at her. "Of course," he mewed. He took a bite of the mouse, and as he chewed, the deafening pounding of his heartbeat seemed to slow and fade into obscurity. He glanced at the she-cat as she took a bite. She was quite literally his definition of perfect.

After a couple bites, she mustered up the courage to ask him THE question. She swallowed the last piece of mouse, licked her teeth incase anything was in between and took a extremely deep breath. LynxPelt.. she paused, fighting through the large brick wall of anxiety, I-i know we just met.. And i tripped you on accident.. was this going good? She couldn't tell uhm.. I love you! she squealed then tightly shut her eyes, it felt so good to finally say it but then a fear of rejection arose. it was all silent. More silent then the dead of night, she waited for an answer, her paws stiffened as she stood, eyes still shut. What will he say? The anticipation was killing her!

Lynxpelt's jaw opened stayed agape for a moment. She loved him? This couldn't be real. "Spiderwillow, I-" he choked on his words. "I think I feel the same," he mewed quietly. The deafening heartbeat came back to him.

Lynxpelt walked back into the camp clearing with a large mouse between his jaws. He placed it on the fresh kill pile and walked over to Spiderwillow.

Berrypaw started to run. He looked araond and saw that Muddupaw had went to a corner in the clearing. Berrypaw sprinted there and thout that he had trapped him.
