In fact, I think you're the coward." When she finished talking, she stepped back. Her eyes flashed, and she created an illusion in the flames for Leafpaw, grinning evilly.
In the illusion, it showed Firefang on the ground, bleeding heavily.

Leafpaw stumbled back, trembling, and tripped and fell. "No." She began trembling. "Firefang! No!"

And her paw passed right through. Shocked, she swiped at Firefang again, and then raised her gaze to Shadeclaw. She steeled her voice as she said, “It’s a trick. He’s not real. What kind of coward hides behind flames and uses illusions?”

Leafpaw darted over to it and stared down. Then, slowly, her gaze lifted and met Shadeclaw's. Her eyes were smoldering coals of fury as she screeched and launched herself over the fire, aiming for the she-cat.
