Patchkit woke with a startled jump. They looked around, opened eyed. They stood up, a bit wobbly and quickly jumped out of their nest, being silent as possible as to not disturb the others.

Shallowkit's jaw opened. "Oh. I didn't know that. I'm used to being the 'Riverclan Drama Queen'. I thought it was part of the act." He muttered and dipped his head, noticing Shiveringkit nearby.

Doedapple glanced around the nursery and her eyes widened. "Flashkit?! Where'd you go, hon?" She meowed a little loudly, but not too loud as to not disturb the queens.

The brooding Lionheart made his way from the kill pile (where he obtained a fish and squirrel)over to the nursery, stepping inside carefully and setting the prey down. “Kits n’ queens! If anyone’s hungry er’ thirsty le’ me know. I’ve got some kill here n’ I can ge’ ya whatever ya may need.” he offered so each cat in the den may hear.

At her mother's frantic call, young Flashkit's head popped up from under a pile of moss and other foliage she had been playing with.

"'m here, momma!" she called back, wiggling out from the pile all the while shaking her fur free from debris. Although she still had quite a bit stuck on her soft fur. Her momma will be able to clean it off.

She took a moment to stretch her small limbs before prancing over to Doedapple with a smile.

"Momma! Can we go out 'n play today?"

Doedapple wrinkled her nose and brushed some debris aside with her paw. " No, hon, you play with the other kits. Out of the nursery as to not disturb the other queens. " She meowed and licked gently between her kit's ears.
