OspreyDart felt nothing but upset for the kits, now knowing what the queens can actually do them he wrapped his pelt around the two, protecting them till their mother shows up to actually care for them.

"Whoa!" Whisperingkit ducked to avoid the claws, backing away so she wasn't in the line of fire. "Morningkit you're safe! It's okay!" There was too much going on. Whisperingkit could feel her threshold for this give way as she became overwhelmed. Whimpering, she cowarded behind Ospreydart. "M-Momma...! Help me please!" Her voice was whispered, and eyes wide.

Ospreydart looked at the kit with worrying eyes. "Huh?" The tom sheathed his claws to keep himself from hurting a kit, sitting up he asked Morningkit "Are you alright?"

Featherbreeze pulled back her lips and hissed as Gingerkit raced back over. "Go... just.... go." Was all she said. Gingerkit wanted to stay with the nice cats.

okay. curious. extremely curious. ospreydart had darted into the medicine den, yelled something about two ill kits, and then ducked out again without waiting for a single answer. so, naturally.. cobwebfern had followed. immediately upon entering the nursery she was greeted with completely unsupervised chaos. but.. like.. a bigger amount of nursery chaos than usual. something about.. dead kits?? morningkit, whisperingkit, gingerkit, and also ospreydart for some reason, were all talking over each other. okay. time to step in. ' oi! you three kits- ginger, whispering, morning. and ospreydart. c'mere and calm down. settle and then tell me what's happenin'. i'll try to help. ' stars, could riverclan get just one day of peace?

The tom walked to cobwebfern, "Okay I was just out in the clearing when I heard the kits and I walk in to 3 unsupervised kits thinking they were in Starclan one wanting to be in Starclan because their mother doesn't like them and it's giving me a headache!"

Gingerkit ran to the other cat. "Get... me... away... from... mama...." she murmered.

Featherbreeze snorted, annoyed. "Gingerkit, get over here! You're being a disgrace!" She turned to the medicine cat. "Gingerkit sometimes gets sensitive, and I don't know why she runs from me just because I scold her. Really, she should know I mean only to help her!" Featherbreeze's hateful glare said otherwise.

Morningkit whispered her sorries to Whisperingkit. Then, she cowered behind her. Leave us alone! She croaked, stepping back.

Whisperingkit immediately jumped to her paws when Cobwebfern entered the chaos. She darted over when summoned, taking a spot underneath the medicine cat apprentice. Whisperingkit had always hoped to get to know Cobwebfern more, but not like this. She trembled slightly with her anxiety, but took a breath to be able to provide, what she thought, was going to be the only sane answer Cobwebfern received.

"Ms. Cobwebfern," the fluffy little kit started, blinking up at her with wide eyes, "Morningkit thinks she's dead for some reason! When I tried to tell her the truth, she panicked. A-And Gingerkit is scared of her momma. She says her momma hurts her!" Whisperingkit reported with a frown. "Morningkit doesn't feel sick when I touched her nose...but I dunno why she's convinced she's dead..."
