After Songwave caught her he scrunched up his face in delight, and cheered with his daughter. "Yay! We did it!"
It quickly earned him a harsh 'Shush!' from the other queens, but nothing could damper the pride he felt for Claykit.

With everyday that passed he understood more and more of what it meant to be a father because of his kits, even if he didn't think himself worthy at first.
Just like when he had fallen in love with Almondchatter, Songwave once again earned a new confidence to greater understand his own worth.
He knew now that he would jump up, high into the night sky, and catch a shining star if it meant to keep them warm. Even if the star only lasted one night, he would repeat that hard task until death. Nothing was impossible now, not for them.

"We sure are! Couldn't have been done without your big reach!" The blue-gray tom chirped, lightly batting her tiny paw with his own bigger one. "Nice work Claykit- I mean, Birdkit!"

Claykit hadn't been awake for all that long, but today was really shaping up to be a good one. She had to briefly wonder why she was getting so many nicknames recently, but she wasn't really bothered by it. Nicknames got to show off a cat's personality after all. Shame she wasn't all that good at sounding like a bird, though.

She met Songwave's paw with her own, before she started to bounce around him. Who cared if they were shushed? "Next time let's go outside. See how high we can go!"

AppleKit was bored in her nest, her eyes lazily tracking the paws in the nursery before someone called out. AppleKit sprung up and walked over gathering here courage, “I can.” She raised here tail confidently, she hadn’t played games before but it was about time she had!

Heronkit shook his head. Many cats often see him as a ruthless, bossy kitten. Believing that he itself has among all the most remarkable loyalty to become a lionheart – if not even a deputy. Sure. But he always cared about his family (Except Pigeonkit, hypothetically), and respects a lot towards his parents. He’s always by Lichenkit’s side, and he has empathy for his newly adopted sister, Owletkit, even though Heronkit doesn’t imagine her that much as a sibling at first.

Again, he couldn’t imagine being in a real dream. A dream whose crafted by the Starclan cats. But it might be just a hoax, or is it? Or maybe… The tuxedo kitten raised his head, as if he heard a sound of a threat. If Lichenkit dreamed about the three birds fighting, especially that one started the fight, then…

It felt like as if he slightly understood the dream in a snap. This dream must define something about his sibling and his family. This must be either a future blessing or curse.

“I.. I think I must sleep a bit more.” He stood up before he got back into his nest, and curled up, with his tail covering his face.

Lichenkit watched Heronkit intently. Expectantly. Yes, they trusted their family, and knew Heronkit would not go back on his promise. That part of her that was on edge since waking up was telling her that something was going to go wrong. They knew it was just unsettled nerves, that everything would be fine. It had to be.

"Oh." Lichenkit said softly, green eyes following their brother as he went back to the nest. There was something behind his reaction, but the calico had enough of signs today. They wrapped their tail around their paws, not following. She knew rest wouldn't come for her right now. "Sleep well."

Pikekit couldn’t help but stare at his mother’s face, she was lovely. His little paws flailed still as they outstretched towards it. His eyes rapidly becoming heavy as he drifted to sleep with a couple little snores here and there.
