Which symptoms should your cat have?

She has Type 1 Diabetes, so lightheadedness, lethargy, weightloss, loss of appetite, and Lethargy currently are her symptoms.

Do you want a genetic or acquired illness/condition?

Yes. I kinda think it'd be better if it was from the paternal side as well.

How many moons is this cat? Is it a certain breed?

Shes a ragdoll mix and 40 moons old.

What's the cat past? How/where does it live now?

In her past she was a kittypet for her first year and a half of life,, and isnt spayed due to a fraternal condition not allowing her to have kittens anyway.

Has it already some condition/other problems?

other than what is said above, no.

What should the outcome of the illness/condition be?

Weakness that Slows her down and she dies from a predator attack.

Is there a bigger plot around the illness/condition?

Not other than eventual death.

I'm not sure what you want to accomplish yet, but I must tell you that diabetes is always an acquired condition, although there may probably be some genetic base behind it as well. We don't know for sure how much a diabetic cat is able to live without treatment, but I've read somewhere that a few months at maximum should be a general response. Also, remember that high and pressing thirst is one of the first and main symptoms of diabetes. Obviously, as the disease progresses the cat experiences more and more severe symptoms.

@Wingnettle

Does it do it when you're wearing them or when they're off? With which frequency? Does it rub its cheeks?
