Cypress was able to breathe easier once she had leapt away, trying to regain his composure as he stood on somewhat shaky legs. She was proving to be quite the opponent, but the tom wouldn't give up easily. He went for another evasive maneuver, evading her leap and countering by kicking out at her after she was within range. However it was a little sloppy, as he was still recovering from her last attack. So focused on winning, Cypress wasn't aware yet of their audience. |

The kick caught her in the leg as she leaped past, making her go off kilter, she turned into a sloppy tacti-roll to come up on her paws. She was panting at this time, and her leg stung, but she still grinned, exilerstion coursing through her. She didn't notice the ears sticking up out of the ground as she padded around the tom again, this time leaping one way before leaping the other way, trying to catch him on his dodge. @Orderly mage |

The cat with no name no longer bothered to hide him self he poked his head above the hill. They won't see me in the heat of battle he thought. He watched them claw and climb on one another he tried to copy but it was hard being alone. @CheetahPelt |

Usually taking his training seriously, in this case, Cypresspaw was able to return her grin with a smirk that tugged at the corner of his mouth, revealing his upper fangs. It can't hurt to enjoy yourself, he reasoned with himself. His chest was heaving slightly, showing the exertion of their exercise. Lowering himself into a defensive position, his tail twitched behind him, emerald gaze following her side to side movements. He caught some other sort of movement in his peripheral vision, but didn't think it important to investigate, assuming it was a clan patrol of some sort, and otherwise preoccupied with the advancement of the she cat before him. |

She didn't leap, but ran towards the other apprentice, swiping low at him, hoping to catch him by surprise. In the corner of her eye she saw another cat crouched like Cypress was, she blinked and refocused on Cypress, with a quick whisper. "You see that too?" She meowed as she swiped at him. |

Although he only had a few moments to prepare, his concentration was lost when she pointed out what he had assumed to be nothing to worry about. Cypresspaw jabbed back at her halfheartedly, distracted by the unfamiliar cat. "Yes," he replied, his voice also lowered. "I've never seen them before, that means they're trespassing," he added as an afterthought, not sure if they were still pretending to be brawling. |

She didn't even respond to his half jab, but she whusoered to him. "Let's find out who they are, what they want. You go around one side and I'll go the other." She nodded to her plan and stalked out of the cave, and stalked around the cat, she was going to pop out on one side. |

She didn't leave him time to respond, so Cypress merely nodded, following her out of the cave and breaking off to circle around the other side of the suspicious feline. He'd wait until she was in position, and follow her up the hill to trap the cat between them and question him. |

She nodded at Cypresspaw and ran to the edge of the hill, a hiss coming out from inbetween her teeth. "Who are you?" |

Two well trained Riverclan apprentices against a nameless loner would he no trouble, however Cypresspaw wondered if they should have sent for the deputy, or even their leader to deal with a trespasser. He wasn't worried for their safety, but wouldn't look forward to getting reprimanded later, no matter how well they handled the situation. With his ears flat against his head and his tail flicking, Cypresspaw would worry about repercussions when the time came, and instead kept in a lowered position that kept him protected but left him open to launch an offensive attack should he need to, allowing Saltpaw to handle the talking as the senior apprentice. // Aye goodnight, have a nice sleep uwu |

Saltpaw' tail whipped around. "It's not because it's the "way" it should be, this is our territory, Riverclan's land. So if you want to challange that, we can bring you to Fallenstar." She crouched low, her claws unsheathed, and sunk into the ground. |

Cypresspaw almost couldn't believe his ears. What right did this no named cat have to question the clans very way of life? He was bristling, giving the loner a heated glare. "I think . . . It would be best we bring him back to the camp for questioning. Even if we chase him off he could cause others trouble, or just come right back." @Orderly mage |

The stranger clearly had dung for brains as Cypresspaw could only understand half his mad gibberish. Rather than dignifying him with an answer, he edged closer, backing up Saltpaw so she could get ahold of the cat and they could assure he made it all the way back to camp with them. @CheetahPelt |

@atlas She guffawed and grabbed the cat by his scruff, and hauled him out of the hole. "Train a loner to battle. Puh. No, if we question you, you'll either die, be imprisoned, or join the clan. Watch my back Cypresspaw." She mumbled this around the cat's scruff |

Cypresspaw hid a smile, covering her flank and keeping out of sight of the loner, so if he somehow managed to escape Saltpaw's hold, he wouldn't anticipate which direction Cypress would come from. "Maybe our code doesn't apply to the likes of you," he hissed, his response along with contribution to her intimidation tactic. @CheetahPelt |

The cinder colored tom exhaled a derisive laugh, "you're outnumbered, in enemy territory, and clearly foolish enough to get yourself caught, we are doing something." He shook his head, reminding himself to swivel his ears and lift his head, whiskers twitching, checking their surroundings, given if they had anymore enemies nearby, they weren't being very discreet. @CheetahPelt @Orderly mage // aye should we move topics or see if either the deputy or leader are interested in the rp? |

Re: RiverClan Training Cave
@~Warriorsfan101~ (I thought it would be more befitting to post here, if the two of them would be training? :)) Oceanpaw's slender form weaved gracefully beneath the entrance to the training cave, gaze taking only a second to adjust to the dimmer lighting. Her creamy pelt appeared well-maintained and only recently groomed. Watery gaze glanced carefully around the cave, a cautious curiosity lurking within their blue depths as she took note of the other training sessions taking place. The young she-cat had ensured she was on time to training, not wanting to disappoint Aspenleaf by keeping her waiting. She had nothing she'd rather be doing, regardless. Oceanpaw enjoyed the sensation of productivity and usefulness that training offered, preferring to keep her mind busy rather than bored and restless. Her lithe legs carried her elegantly across the cave, to a secluded section that was not being used by any other apprentices and their mentors. She took note of the lack of cats, wondering why so few opted to train today. Maneuvering herself into a comfortable seated position, the she-cat sat quietly as she awaited the company of Aspenleaf, excitement tingling deep within her. |
