Hearing the call of his mate's voice, Glimmermask set off bounding into the nursery. Safe to say he was a little alarmed. Was she kitting? Had she gotten injured? But he relaxed upon seeing that the grey-and-white queen was stretched calmly out on the moss. She was beautiful as ever.... He was so glad they'd picked each other as mates.

"Hello, honey," they purred, coming to lay by her side. His eyes fluttered close briefly as he let himself relax a little after a long day. The meeting and the new prospect of war with the other Clans had successfully stirred up his anxiety, and more than anything he wanted to just settle down with his mate for a bit.

Purring, he let himself sink a little into the thick-furred queen's fur, a small but contented smile making its way onto his muzzle.

"It's been.... okay, I suppose," he began hesitantly, not sure if he wanted to confess all his worries and troubles to her. He didn't want to overwhelm her with his anxieties, or burden her, especially not while they were just having a moment of quiet and peace after all that had happened in the Clan.

"Bumblestar assigned me an apprentice," he mewed, deciding to talk about something more uplifting. "Lil chap is... deaf, I think. So I'm hoping I can do everything I can to work with him efficiently." He flicked a large ear, thinking for a moment to himself.
