Red jumped onto the Dead Giant Monster after prodding it to make sure that it was still, indeed, dead. He looked down at the cats and meowed, Hello.
Yep. A simple hello. He could make anything sound dramatic.
Red jumped down to land next to Fawn. She jumped up with fright and used her power to make some vines grip his tail tightly. Stop scaring me. Fawn growled and the vines retreated. Red rolled his eyes and looked at Caspian. Elemental Control. You would get along just fine with Fawn right here. He commented and dipped his head in greeting to the others.

Moon could hear... something... somecat was speaking, but she couldn't make out the words. She was shuddering now, but the pain receded to her head, leaving her body free of pain but her head feeling like needles were pinning her. She opened her eyes a crack; her vision was blurry. It soon cleared, and she was looking at the black silver cat. She widened her eyes, scrambling backward, wincing in pain. "You... you were the... the..." She stopped speaking. Her limbs felt weird after being a twoleg... Human. The word came to her. Human. The word felt strange and foreign in her head. What was that!?! Internally she was freaking out, but she tried to keep calm. Something told her to keep quiet about the vision... She took a deep breath. Her fur crawled, like she didn't belong in this body. "S-sorry..." she said, wincing again. "I'm... I'm fine." She shook her head, still feeling strange. She looked at the cat again. Wendy. This cat was Wendy. She was sure of it.

Now, Vortex was sure this cat saw something. "C-can I talk to you alone sometime?" Somehow, Vortex thought that this cat might have seen something. She looked freaked out, something that Vortex herself was quite used to feeling. Only she was trying not to show it. Vortex didn't have that measure of control. "By the way, I'm Vortex. What's your name? And I control wind. What can you do?"

Moon blinked. She looked at the black silver cat. She was speaking to her. Her name was Vortex... Except it was actually Wendy Ingleston. How? How is a... human a cat? The word felt like she shouldn't know it, like it was unnatural. She shivered. Something was going on... Something disturbed the natural order of things. She snapped out of her thoughts. Wendy-- er, Vortex had asked a question. Her power. She froze in panic. She couldn't tell Vortex! Not now... She wasn't supposed to see that, to know this, this word human, how it feels like to be one. "I..." Thankfully, she was saved by Red arriving, and she quickly turned her attention to him. She was full of questions... She realized Vortex had asked something, something in the beginning. Can I talk to you alone sometime. She glanced back, and flicked her tail in acceptance. Hurriedly she averted her gaze. I can't believe... any of this.

Fawn cleared her throat loudly and narrowed her eyes. INTRODUCTIONS. She meowed sternly. Caspian here has already introduced himself, if anyone was listening. His power is Elemental Control. And mine is Nature Control. Fawn meowed and nodded to Moon to introduce herself.

Moon froze as all eyes landed on her. She usually was never the center of attention, and she was glad for it. She also has never been around this many cats before. "I..." She flicked her tail nervously "I'm... Uh... M-Moon," she said hesitantly. She swallowed. She was going to have to reveal her power anyways. "I-I... I have... S-Sometimes I have visions of the future," she finished, speaking quickly and quietly near the end. Her gaze was trained on the ground. Her ears felt hot in embarrassment. Oh, why, why, why... She wished a pit could open up and swallow her. Instead, she had to substitute by hunching her shoulders and trying to make herself smaller.

Vortex, or Wendy Ingleston, as this cat now seemed to know her, as it seemed obvious, turned around. Her stomache was churning. She knew. She had to. Wasn't this what her mother had told her? 'Don't let anyone know,' her mother had said. But her mother hadn't mentioned anything about cats who looked at you, collapsed, woke up, and seemed to know your secret all of a sudden. Praise heavens this cat didn't tell! Vortex was getting upset. Very upset. Upset enough that she accidentally pulled water from the nearest water source and caused a hurricane. Vortex paniced even more. Hurricanes...... oh god, don't think that Wendy Vortex Ingleston! She thought. Don't! But her own memories rebelled against her. Hurricanes.... her family...... Vortex blacked out, like she always did when she came to that one, horrid memory. And she fell unconcious.

Moon flinched when the wind started blowing, and looked at Vortex in alarm. What? Why had Wendy just collapsed? Somehow, somehow she knew this was all her fault... Her fault, her fault... She seemed paralyzed, in the midst of a hurricane brewing. staring at the form of unconscious Vortex. Her mind flashed back to a memory... She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to suppress the hazy memory. She had more important things to do. And suddenly she was free from the paralyzation, racing over to Wendy. "Oh no..." She whispered. She put her paw on Vortex's chest, feeling relieved as she felt that she was still breathing. What to do, what to do...? In the vision, Wendy's mom had stopped the wind by making Wendy unconscious. But this didn't seem the case now. My fault, my fault... She didn't know what to do. A lump formed in her throat, hopelessness fluttering in her chest.

Caspian watched the other cat collapse with a blank look. Gosh,
he just wanted to have a normal class. He yelped and backed up from the hurricane, and growled slightly. He didnt enjoy getting wet. Caspian, now pissed that his fur was wet, glared, waiting for the other cats to react before he acted concerned. Noticing Moon freak out, they bounded closer. It was kinda funny, how dramatic this class was turning out to be. He bent down and sniffed the cat. "She's fine. Just unconscious, clearly. Just give her room. Unless, uh...Fawn has other instructions."

"Nonya business." her father glowered at her. Wendy could smell something on his breath.... maybe alchohol. That would explain the bottles lying around, at any rate.

"It is my business!" Wendy yelled. "That's my mother, and your wife your hitting!"

"No.... please, Wendy, don't!" her mother pleaded with her. But Wendy was much too angry to calm down.

"YOUR HITTING MY MOTHER!!!!" Wendy screamed. All around her, wind blew. Windows shattered, sending glass everywhere. Furniture clattered against the wall in the raging wind, and this time, there was no calm, soothing mother to help her control herself. Her father stared, dropped her mother's shirt. Wendy was still mad.

"HOW DARE YOU, YOU *BLEEP*!" Wendy's storm worsened, and her silver eyes glowed with rage.

Meanwhile, her father seemed to recover his wits. "Y-you're a freak!" he sputtered.

Wendy felt so, so mad. Her father was abusive. And he didn't even deny it. Jut called her a freak. "It's better than being a monster....." she hissed. Nearby, the lake next to their house began to churn as the wind came from the building to the water, and the water rose up in a funnel, and became a hurricane. The hurricane entered the house, but Wendy and her mother where whirled up in a swirl of wind, protecting them from the watery, deadly hurricane.

But Wendy's father didn't have that protection. Around him, he hurricane centered itself, and the mini tornado holding Wendy's mother disappeared, as she was no longer in danger. Wendy flew over to her father, and used the wind to make the water enclose her father in a bubble. She wasn't even thinking. It was like her brain and sense of right and wrong had deserted her, like her brain had stepped back and said, 'Go on, whatever you do, he deserves it.' Wendy did not question this. In the watery bubble, her father was drowning. And Wendy didn't care. Her father was dead within minutes. The air guided the water back to the lake, was Wendy was so mad that the hurricane continued, and became something even she couldn't control. When Wendy came to herself, what she had done struck her then. She got on her knees, and sobbed. She had killed her father. Wendy's mother came up next to her, speaking to her, but Wendy did not hear her. "Oh god, I'm a murder." she said. She wasn't so much sad about killing her father. She was sad that she had killed someone in the first place, and that she had even felt it necessary.

The hurricane killed 30 people, in the end. Not counting Wendy's father, that is. Wendy and her mother dumped his body in the lake, and it looked like a suicide. Which was a total lie, but no one would believe the real story. And not that anyone would share it.

Vortex woke up from the vision, and around her the hurricane stopped. She trembled. Oh god, why then? She hoped that the other cat, Moon, didn't see that as well. If she did, then Vortex was screwed. She would be talking to her later after all. In fact, Vortex was right above her. "I-i'm fine now," Vortex said weakly. She was tired now, but she still sat up and decided to pay attention. Never mind that she had started a hurricane and blacked out.

As Vortex sat back up, Moon's eyes widened. She felt... scared, and a sudden tiredness swept through her. She was feeling what Wendy was feeling. She knew that could happen, it saved her life a few times, but... It couldn't be. She knew Wendy had seen something... Her expression reminded her of herself. It was like Vortex had had her own vision, except it couldn't be. She was the one with the visions. It must've been... been a memory, like the one I experienced. That was the only conclusion she could draw. She felt shaky, but she gave a small nod, concern in her eyes. This whole thing was freaking her out, ever since she came to the MS. But it looked like Vortex was okay for now, so she turned her attention back at Fawn, her nervousness about her introduction forgotten.
