Reluctant but tempted, the slim albino makes his way to the gathering along with the other cats. His smaller, lighter paws barely produce a sound as he trots, as if his footsteps barely hit the ground, in result of leaving more unnoticeable (But not too unnoticeable) paw pads behind on the white blanket of snow. (Not to mention that he’s proud of touching the snow even less than average, he just dislikes the cold.) The atmosphere seems a bit darker and more eerie, probably because of the longer-lasting nights of the winter, and the lack of prey lingering around the forest? Wispshard looks around in search for his siblings, either Sixfoot or Wispydapple, but couldn’t find any.
Finally, they finally arrived at the stones. Shadowclan and Riverclan made it to the gathering previously, but Thunderclan is on the way. He takes a look around the gathering. Numerous apprentices and warriors, the two leaders, Dawnstar and Owlstar, who already sat down onto the rocks, waiting for Twilightstar to come over. The medicine cats, deputies and medicine cat apprentices also arrived, who probably chatter about herbs and stuff. Wispshard took a deep breath as he absorbs the fresh, humid air, after the group of Windclan cats divided and went on their own, and takes a seat, hoping that he might have some company from the other cats…. Or not.
Eyes glance around as Scorpionsight arrives at the gathering.
Okay, the only clan not here yet is ThunderClan.
Which is... not important, or anything.
Doesn't matter.
Anyway, the bengal finds a place to sit.
She's still not a fan of the huge amount of cats at these, though.
Not something she'll ever grow used to.
Ohhh! First gathering!
Well, it's be better if his sister was here, but...

She'll be at the next one, though, so it'll be fine.

Havenfade saw Nectarpaw in the throng of cats at the Gathering and, with cautious steps, approached his apprentice.
His apprentice....
He still couldn't get over how giddy it made him to officially be a mentor. Still felt blessed to have been trusted enough with an apprentice's training. "Hey buddy," he chirped, nodding a polite greeting. "I won't hold ya too long. Just wanted to check in, I know I fell out on communicating after our hunting session."
The dark furred warrior's eyes flicked up as a warrior or two passed. Even with the few minutes the grouped cats had been sitting, it seemed like a few were still wandering about. "Made any new friends yet? Both at home and the Gathering."

The mackerel calico dug her claws into the sand, amber hues blazing with fury. Did this cat just not know how a Gathering worked---it was his first Gathering, from the look of him---or was he just a mouse-brain? It would make sense. He's ShadowClan.

It was cool to see different faces and all but the mingling since and overlapping voices ─ the crowd of cats? Torture. Absolute torture. He had to get this sand-hole done and fast. He just needed something to help muffle the sounds; to enclose around his own body.
Expect, SOMEONE started distracting him for his digging. Houndpaw looked up to stare at a tiny cat. A 'paw like him, if he had to take a guess. Golden irises blinked slowly, trying to focus in on their voice. Something about being disrespectful and flinging sand. Why was she interrupting him? He was busy! "HOLE!" He barked at the apprentice, huffing. He was getting distracted by STRANGERS. They should leave him alone. "BEGONE!" For good measure. And that was all the talking they would be getting.
How rude!! (It was just sand. Coool sand!) Irritation flicked through his pelt, unable to stop his body from twitching as he returned back to his digging. His paws scooped out the sand with a practiced expertise. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. He kept digging around it, switching angles to make it a proper Hound Hole.
Mudslide wasn't a sand fan herself, but she could hear the yelling from the secluded shadows of the beach where she resided. Houndpaw was being... Houndpaw, and a Riverclan apprentice was very peeved by that. Honestly, she could sympathize. She didn't like loud cats, she didn't like sand, and it seemed that the Riverclanner shared her same odd ability. But... It was sand. If it bothered them so much, why not move?
Mudslide tensed a bit, not wanting to get out of into the cold, but she figured this was one of the times she'd have to be shoved into the spotlight. A wave of nausea hit her before she stepped forward, keeping her tail high to prevent it from dragging onto the icy beach even if she wanted to shrink her already looming frame.
She sat down in front of Houndpaw and narrowed her eyes slightly as she looked to the Riverclan apprentice. "Bothered? Move." She said simply. Houndpaw, while admittedly annoying with his antics, wasn't exactly hurting anycat. Just move. The beach was a big enough. Mudslide didn't believe Riverclan cats to be entitled (her sister was somewhere in that clan, and her sister certainly wasn't entitled... She wouldn't be, she wouldn't be...), but this cat surely was.

As the other clans arrived, the beach became chaotic with noises and colors and scents. Emberpaw’s cool gaze traveled over the new cats, ears picking up hints of conversations before losing them again in the din. Seeing ShadowClan cats so willingly interact with others was strange to the apprentice. ShadowClan was the best clan, so why did they bother with these plebeians?
A shower of sand broke Emberpaw’s concentration, and the apprentice snapped her head to look at her houndish brother. What on earth was he doing? Emberpaw huffed and shook the sand out of her pelt, growing irritated as grains dug into her skin. But if this hole was keeping Houndpaw from focusing on how loud everything was, Emberpaw would allow it.
An unfamiliar voice snapped nearby, and Emberpaw’s tail fluffed up instinctively. The apprentice fixed her molten gold gaze on the cat that reeked of fish. A spitting image of the ShadowClan Leader, Emberpaw bared her teeth. “Go away. Not doing harm.” Besides from possibly getting sand on cats, but if they didn’t want sand in their pelts why did they meet on a beach? Emberpaw wasn’t going to let Houndpaw’s work be disturbed. Especially by someone from another clan.
Heroneye's ears pricked as a sound she dreaded met her ears: arguing. A few young ShadowClan cats were located to the side, one of them digging into the earth, apparently engrossed in some apprentice game. Then there was a RiverClan apprentice, Squirrelpaw, hissing with unsheathed claws digging into the ground. Heroneye couldn't be sure if Squirrelpaw actually intended to fight or if she was just angry, but the Lionheart had no interest in finding out. The last thing they needed was an apprentices' quarrel, of all things, driving the Clans even farther apart.
As Heroneye got closer, she noticed a ShadowClan warrior entering the conflict as well. The other cat spoke briefly, but it was clear that she only wanted to deescalate--possibly the other ShadowClan apprentice, too, though they seemed a bit more hostile. Heroneye shot the ShadowClan cats an apologetic glance before turning to Squirrelpaw. "They're right." Heroneye spoke in a quiet, steady voice, flicking her tail at the ShadowClanners. "Gatherings are meant to be a time of peace between the Clans; the best thing to do at a time like this is to walk away."
Heroneye settled near to Squirrelpaw, ready to jump in if things escalated even further.
