Mulberry dipped her head to Ant. "Nice meeting you," she meowed, not sure how much she meant it. She thought that Ant was a good cat, but she couldn't forget how he had threatened her kits.

Jaggedfang flicked his tail and swished Thrush up in it, before nudging Embertail along and leading his family home.

Thrush stood up to his full height that morning. He wanted to see how tall he’d gotten. He was just about at Jaggedfangs shoulder, and Mulberry’s neck. And he was only 2 moons old. He outsized his littermates greatly, and looked he height of a 9 moon old rather than a 2.

Ember tail woke up too, and copied his brother in strechting to his full height. He was tall, but not like Thrush or Jaggedfang yet.
