Cloudykit nodded; in all actuality, he wasn't very excited to meet Patchpelt, as he just wanted that scrumptious vole. He licked his chops as Patchpelt put the vole down in front of him. He flicked his tail friendly at the new she-cat. "I'm Cloudykit!" He squeaked, tearing into the prey, the flesh warm in his stomach. It was a jovial day, having his first vole in RiverClan. He smiled up at Patchpelt next to Fuzzyheart, blood staining his maw. "Are you a warrior?" he squeaked, smiling still more brightly at her.

Can I eat it?" Suddenly, Cloudykit started tearing into the vole once more, happy that he could have a taste of home. When will I have get to be a warrior? I hope soon. The thought pierced his heart. Though he was becoming more acquainted with RiverClan, he still couldn't help but think of what would happen had he become a ThunderClan apprentice and therefore a warrior instead.

Whitekit woke up in the nursery. He yawned and looked up at his mother Raintail. She was asleep. He though that he would sneak out while she was sleeping. Whitekit got up and started to walk a little away.Then his mother opened an eye."Were do you think you're going Whitekit?"She asked."Um..out of the nursery.." He replied. "Nope you're staying in here..I don't want you to go out there without me knowing and then I have no idea were you are." She sighed."I don't want to lose you..""Sorry mom.." Whitekit's ears and tail went down."Don't worry you can go outside now that i'm awake and I know were you are." Raintail mewed."Yay!" Whitekit ran out of the nursery. He really wanted to be outside rather than stuck in the nursery. He saw a leaf not to far away. Whitekit ran up to it and grabbed it "Ha got you leaf!" He mewed with a giggle.

"Even the best warriors need groups of skilled warriors by their side to defeat a badger! I fought one once when I was an apprentice, it was a group of 5 other warriors, and we still barely won." His eyes widened, and he made his voice to low to tell the spooky tale.

"Really," she meowed in awe. She was a little scared at the thought of fighting a huge badger one day. "Do you think I'll have to fight one?" she asked trying to sound brave. She sat down so she could listen to his story.
