"She wasn't payin' attention!" Peachkit defends himsef with a brusque scoff, frowning over at Olivekit before offering Chasmkit a short, awkward smile as the tortoiseshell she-kit introduced him. "Yeah, that's—hi, me. Peachkit." He clears his throat and straightens up all importantly, like he's some young celebrity, though there's an underlying awkwardness there still.

Even Peachkit has a hard time buying his own nonsense, on occasion.

He watches as Olivekit moves to introduce herself to yet another kit in the nursery. Proper little social butterfly, that one. He decides to forgive her for encroaching on 'best friend' territory with Snowkit; it seems like Olivekit could be best friends with just about anybody.

Peachkit gives the new face, Oleanderkit, a once over...something in his manner compels Peachkit to snort and shake his head as condescendingly as he can (which is just an outrageous move when it's pulled by a kit so young; laughably unserious) before redirecting his focus back to Snowkit and Chasmkit.

"How old are you?" He prompts Chasmkit, all faux-sweet.
