Ringpaw nodded, turning her minty green gaze to the water in front of her. Channeling all of her focus and concentration to her task, she silently waited for a fish to swim by, her heart pounding against her chest.

Suddenly, a huge trout swam close, and the molly lunged forward a bit, slicing out her paw into the water to quickly scoop up the fish. She took the struggling fish into her jaws, thinking, I did it! I did it! only for the fish to slip from her maw and land back into the water before speeding away. "Mouse dung!" she hissed in frustration as she watched the fish disappear. Her ears sadly pinned back on her head a bit, and she felt like crying. I'd almost had it, yet I failed... Why do I fail at everything? Just like I had failed Shinefang... she turned to her mentor, her lower jaw trembling.

"I'm s-s-sorry... I just can't get anything right..."

"Don't be sorry, you did way better than I expected! I'm very impressed, I have dropped fish more times than I can count," Whitestripe was very impressed, he wasn't the best fisher, and his apprentice was doing great, "It can be very hard to hold on to fish. You injured that one, see how it hasn't gone very far?" Whitestripe gestured with his tail to the fish, "Now... lets see, ummm.... " Whitestripe launched himself into the pond after the fish. He meant to cautch it, but ended up sending it to Ringpaw, and getting water in his nose. @Rose Child (Gay Bean)

Spiralheart sat down on the shore of the pond, waiting for Flowerpaw to catch up with her. She would teach her the basics of fishing today. Hopefully the rambunctious calico would pay attention to her as well as she did last time.

Flowerpaw was right behind Spiralheart, though the calico made a face upon spotting the cattail pond. “Gross, we’re gonna be fishing in that?” She questioned, tail flicking uneasily. The pond looked a bit murky.. and as she had stated before, just gross.

Brightwhister jumped back just enough to be out of Harepaws reach.

"All right, so you've tackled me, and i threw you off. We're in a head to head match." the warrior grinned down at his apprentice as he circled him.

"You're opponent is larger than you. Just batting your paws aren't going to work. What else can you try to topple me now?" he quizzed the bob tailed tom.

(lol it's fine. Also My wifi went out for a day, sorry.)
Harepaw stood and thought. "I don't know," he pouted.

"Going for the legs in this situation can unbalance the opponent." Brightwhisker started. " Sending a blow to the face could stun, even injure the eyes if you aim well enough. You can run under me, you're smaller and could use that to your advantage. Or, you can fake out and catch me in the side."

"Of course, Spiralheart replied. "There's no current, like there would be in the river. A perfect place to start. Now. Watch me." She sat with her back to her apprentice, then stared into the water. She crouched low to the sand, to avoid casting a shadow, then shot out a paw and hooked a small fish by the gills. After killing it, she turned back to Flowerpaw. "Your turn."

Shade puffed up his dampened fur as he curled by shore with his brother and sister. Breathing heavily as he looked up at the two smaller kits who stared at him in dismay. CLay flattened her ears "Where you lucky this time...?" She asked quietly. Moss only looked up hopefully but meowed out loudly in dismay when his brother shook his head

Mousekit was lounging by the water. He sighed, poking at some moss hearing some noises of a cat speaking. He scurried behind a bush, he was very secretive and traveled a lot for his age of 2 moons.

Padding onto the small clearing, Mothdusk scented the air. Pond. Forest. Kit? Looking confused, her eyes scanned the area. Seeing a rustle in the bushes, she padded over. "Kit, come out or I will grab you by the scruff." She meowed sternly, why was a kit out here!?

Mousekit shallowed his breathing, as soon as Mothdusk went away he could sneak back to the nursery, he looked through some of the leaves, a bit scared.
