"Wow. Terrifying." the sarcasm was clearly ringing through in his voice. "I didn't know you had murderous tendencies. Not really how you make friends, kid." he finished off the bit of bread he was eating, and began to look around for something else once she expressed her distaste in his tentacles. "Hey, not my fault I have them. You haven't even felt one in the first place."

"Not really." Amelia admitted. "My ma and pa never taught me before they-" She cut herself off, before taking his hand.

Ross frowned slightly, but he held her hand and gently pulled her into the water, his arm around her waist as he held her above the surface. "Here, I can teach you." He smiled, making his way to the shallow end, away from Sasuke and Peter. He set her down to where her feet touched the ground. "Move your arms like this," He demonstrated, "And kick your legs. Here, I'll show you." Ross started on one side of the pool and swam to the other, before taking a deep breath and swimming back to Amelia. "Now, I want you to try and swim to me." Ross backed up, starting to enter the deep end.

Amelia bit her lip, before attempting it. She shot forward, her face colliding with Ross's accidentally.

Ross yelped as she shot towards him, but he was even more surprised when their lips connected. He immediately pulled away, not wanting to scare the young girl. "Amelia, watch out." He laughed, blushing and holding her steady.
