Mulberry was about to stretch out and relax when a sharp pain coursed through her and she gasped. When it happened again, she groaned and muttered, "the kits are coming!"

Tigerlily
Tigerlily flicked up her ears in surprise, then scrambled to her feet. Racing through the tunnel, she found Jaggedfang right outside. "The kits are coming!" she cried.

Jaggedfang raced over. "Embertail, get a stick! Tigerlily, get some moss, & Thrush, guard the entrace! We dont want any cat taking advantage of this weakness & attacking us!" Jaggedfang instructed. Then he ran over to Mulberry. "You know the the drill, stay calm and push." He mewed.

Embertail nodded and came back with a thick stick.

Mulberry nodded and tried to concentrate. She looked up and gratefully took the stick from Embertail. Another spasm passed through and she pushed hard, the stick cracking in her jaws. The first kit @Bramblefire01) slid out.
She laid back and waited for the next spasm. She pushed again and a second kit @leopardstrike4) fell into the nest. Mulberry relaxed, thinking that she was finished. A moment later, however, another pang raced through her and she strained again and the last kit came out @Viper2008). Totally spent, Mulberry dropped the stick and fell back into her nest. @Bramblefire01 @Viper2008 @leopardstrike4

Tinyleaf mewled and struggled to get to her mother to drink milk. When she finally latched on she sighed and went to sleep.

Sunfang kicked & thrashed wildly as he was born, and dragged himself over to Mulberry's stomach to nurse next to his siblings.

Oh, that's a very pretty name! Pit purred, taking a bit of the mouse himself. As she mentioned she'd seen him around, he figured it was pre-planned speech time. It was a bit tiring, always saying the same things, and he decided to not this time around. Not tell her about the group, just....say he lived here. My mate Nala and I moved here before our kits were born. We thought it would be safer from predators somewhere with a lot of cats. And it has been, for the most part. he explained, his ears pitching forward to hear her response.

Silver nodded, it made sense to move somewhere with a lot of cats. Safety in numbers, eh? But one thing in particular Pit said stood out to her. "For the most part? Has there been any dangers?" She mewed curiously. Listening to stories was one of the things she enjoyed, especially since most of the time they would be interesting or worth it to listen to.
