"Okay!" Picking up all their catches, Baypaw held their head up high as they marched back to camp behind their mentor. The fish tasted pretty good from what they could tell--not that they were eating it or anything, but they just couldn't avoid tasting a bit of it as they held it in their jaws. They were quite proud of their little fishies, even if they weren't exactly the biggest, baddest, or juiciest ones in the pond.

Nodding, her tail happily bobbing from side to side. She was more than happy to show her apprentice, though also a fair bit nervous. Even if fishing was the type of hunting she was best at, there was still considerable room for error, and failing several times in a row would be very embarassing. Reminding her apprentice of that. "Now, even the best fishers will miss now and then. Its unlikely you will get it on your first try. This is all about patience. If you mess up, you get to bask in the sun for a few minutes while you wait for the fish to calm down and return to the surface again" She instructs.

Then, standing at the edge of the pond, very carefully stepping her paws into the water as to not make any ripples across the surface. She stared down into the slightly brown-tinted water, eyes scanning for a potential catch. Eventually setting eyes on a perch that was foolishly close to the surface. She waited a good several minutes, showing off that patience was the key here. Finally, once the fish was distracted and close enough, she snapped her head down into the water, jaws biting around it. She was a bit slow, but her patience had paid off, since she just barely managed to sink her teeth into its tail and pull its body out of the water to show off triumphantly! Honestly surprised she managed it on her first try, too!

silverpaw smiled she was glad that she wasnt hunting alone and was glad that it was one of her best friends that had come.

Frostfeather padded past the cattails and up to the bank of the pond. It was a lovely sunny day and the air was crisp and clean. Frostfeather looked up and admired the bright blue sky; not a cloud dotted the vast unknown.

Today was a leisure day, she was planning on having Amberpaw practice simple swimming. There had been so much happening recently, from the tension between River and Thunderclan to the internal clan issues, that Frostfeather decided that both her and her apprentice needed a rest.

She sat by the bank, allowing him the water to lap at her paws, as she waited for Amberpaw to appear.

Frostfeather’s ear twitched towards the sound of Amberpaw padding into view and she turned, greeting her apprentice with a smile.

“Hello Amberpaw, whats got you seemingly so excited?” she asked getting to her paws. As she waited for the apprentice’s response she waded a little into the water, trying to cool off from the sun’s heat.
