Skipper padded into the clearing, smacking his lips as the weak new-leaf sunlight traced golden swirls onto his thick chocolate pelt. He flicked one floppy ear and opened his jaws to the wind, timidly tasting the air. He sank back on his haunches, mildly disappointed. No prey in his immediate vicinity, and if the prey wasn't easy to catch it wasn't worth chasing. The pudgy loner stretched, yawning again, and scanned his surroundings with lazy eyes. This was the place for him- no fuss, no muss. The Clans were too strict for his taste, but around here? No rules! No restrictions! No...

Excitement.

Skipper sighed noisily an twitched his stubby tail, eyeing the nearest cats hopefully. Not all loners were anti-social, right? Someone would have to be friendly among all these rogues. But... he scrutinized his neighbors one more time. It certainly didn't look like anyone was going to strike up a conversation.

So maybe he'd have to take the first step.

Selecting a cat from the thinning group that milled in and out of the dock, he padded over, trying to maintain an open and friendly expression. Pausing just behind them, he shrugged almost imperceptibly and mewed out his typical conversation starter.

"You aren't a ghost, are you? Just got to be sure, you know..."

There, that should do it. Never hurt a cat to check. Surely such a friendly line couldn't possibly cause any hostility- now all he had to do was wait for them to respond!

(imma take this)

Storm a small grey cat with patches of white looked up her gaze a little clouded "ghost? of course not, are you a ghost?" she pondered and sat down analyzing the cat. She was quiet but did not give off a bad aura. She tilted her head and smiled a littler her ambyer eyes seemed to dart off every few seconds. She sensed no hostility from the other cat like she did from most. She sensed happy vibes which made her feel good. She decided being around this cat was a good thing and she wanted to become friends with him.

hearing her kit whisper
She said
Rain I’ll take you and your siblings out later today if you’d like.

She sat up yawning.

Re: Fisher's Point

Sequoia's russet fur shimmered in the sun. He blinked his murky yellow eyes sleepily. The crate he had been sleeping in was not comfortable at all. He yawned once and got up, shaking the dust out of his fur.

Sequoia walked over to the smaller box next to the one he slept in. It held his prey. He grabbed a mouse and quickly ate it. He peered over the edge of the small box again and sighed. Looks like he was hunting today. He turned towards the forest.

@PoppySeed
Noticing a russet tom heading into the woods, Pit padded over to him, getting up from his seat in the small center of the camp area. Hello. he mewed warmly, adding It's a nice morning, isn't it? He needed to hunt anyway, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to accompany this tom into the woods, if that was his intention.

Silver nodded. Foxes were no good. She had been attacked by one when she was younger. She and her best friend had been wandering around and joking when they had run into an unsuspecting fox. She still had a scar on her underbelly, but her fur hid it well from sight. "Who are Firey and Blue? They sound very dear to you." Silver mewed curiously.

(When I'm tired I write more formally. Don't ask why it just happens XD.)

They're some of the other cats that I live with. There are a lot of them I live with, but yes, I do really like Firey and Blue. Firey was so interesting, his personality was similar to Nala's in a way, confident and willing to fight for the cat he cared about, he would have tried to kill Pit if he had hurt the small, fluffy kit. And Blue.......Blue was smart, something Pit envied and respected at the same time.

Silver nodded. "You live with many cats you say. It's not like one of those forest clans, is it?" She spat. Silver had a strange hatred for the clans of the forest. They were so snooty and thought they were better than everyone else simply because they lived in groups, running around fighting over simple things like prey. They were no good. They just seemed a little stuck up. That's why Silver preferred to live without boundaries, out in the open. Here at Fisher's Point, there wasn't anywhere she couldn't go. There weren't any chains to weigh you down.

Re: Fisher's Point

Pit was surprised at the venom that suddenly jumped into Silver's voice, but it was understandable. Lots of rogues were wary of groups, there family having been hurt by the clans. No, not at all! No rules or anything, just don't hurt other cats. We do take care of some cats that can't take care of themselves fully, as long as they give back in some way. That's a bit like the clans, but that's about it. Blue was old and couldn't hunt great, but they needed his knowledge. Other cats weren't the best hunters but could entertain kits or fight well. It all worked out. @rosetherosey

Her voice came back to a more calm tone, and her aggression faded away. "That sounds interesting. Back when I was younger we had no such thing here, but time seems to fly like a hawk through the sky. It passes by so quickly you can't tell when it's there. But once it's gone, you can never get it back." She mewed. Over the years, Silver had watched as Fisher's Point had grown from a few rouges defending for themselves it to it being filled to the brim with different cats. Kittypets, Rouges, and Loners alike.

Re: Fisher's Point

Nodding to Silver, Pit mewed Yes, we haven't been here long, but it seems to have exploded in the number of cats here. So many, so many more than when they had first come, everyone settling down, although it seemed as though the number of new cats, appearing from nowhere, had decreased. I think time more as a long piece of fur. It keeps going and going and you can only look back. Pit wasn't smart enough to make analogies with hawks and flying and all those, well, SMART things. He settled for fur. @rosetherosey
