With them having a depleted mood, it was outrageously different than a full grown feline acting like their soul been sucked by the dark forest. Suddenly, Splotchfeather did a small leap in place. “You're a kit!” She exclaimed. That was the easiest perception that could be made. Even though Splotchfeather somewhat held the height of a kit, at least on the bigger side; kits held those special features that gave them a youthful, spring-seasoned beauty that no cat could top. “Coming up with a game shouldn't be that hard for you to create!” The calico pelted cat crouched down in a playful hunting crouch. She eyed the other kit, noting an expression of doubt, of carelessness, as if she held nothing close to her and already lost everything. Such a, such a sad, sad life.

Splotchfeather stood up, shaking her fur from her tendencies to play a lot. “Oh, you small, small, little thing,” she said softly. “Appears to me that someone has the case of the downtown blues.” She sung, then proceeded to giggle softly. It was very odd to her to see a kit so sad about life. At that prime age in life, kits were supposed to be notorious! Take over the world without a care. Maybe...she wasn't receiving much attention? Maybe...the other kits didn't want to play with her? Were they bullying her? That alarmed the quirky feline as she did not take much into abuse in such a way. But still, a sad face heightened Splotchfeather’s emotions. “Oh, such stories, you silly bug!” She laughed once more, than swooped her tail gently to cuff the young kit’s ears. “Don't you have any friends?” Her eyes sparked when she asked the question. Friends were a good thing. They were comforting and everyone had to have them. Splotchfeather had many best friends. So many, that sometimes she forgot them! Which gave her the reason to claim the entire clan as her best friends.

Zerokit blinked, confused by her confusion. Had she never seen a sad kit before? Zerokit found that hard to believe, but based on her reaction, it was proving likely. Or maybe this she-cat was just too optimistic, and unable to understand why she felt sad all the time? She swallowed her doubt, as much as she could, and looked up at the she-cat, who still looked baffled. "Yeah..." Zerokit replied to her exclamation. So what if she was a kit? She had a right to be sad...did she? What if she was just whiny? She realized the way her thought path was drifting and swiftly took a deep breath. She glanced back into the nursery (because she hasn't met her friends yet) and saw nobody she'd talked to. Nobody had ever approached her, anyways. "Well, I can create games I just..don'thaveanyonetoplaythemwith," her last few words jumbled together as she spoke quickly, then gave her chest fur a swift lick. She had siblings, but they weren't interested half the time. Nor was Zerokit eager enough to talk to them.

Zerokit felt her pelt grow hot. She probably looked pathetic, all alone while other kits played with one another. She glanced up at..she didn't even know this cats name! "Heh, you could put it that way..er...I never got your name." She mewed softly, her eyes shining with a dull curiosity. She felt her pelt grow hot again as she felt a smile curl at the edge of her lips, something rare. She wasn't sure why she was smiling. She just was. And it was weird, because she rarely ever smiled. Even if she was happy. Zerokit, being antisocial, was sort of an outcast. She hadn't met any friends, yet, but she got the occasional glare from another kit. She was sure she'd have enemies. Zerokit giggled slightly, an odd feeling, but it made her feel nice enough. She blinked. She'd already answered in a way, but she couldn't reply with silence. "..No," she spoke bluntly, shrugging.

Re: SkyClan Clearing

Purekit was startled out of her thoughts by the sound of rustling coming from the entrance of camp. She peered curiously from between the bushes and searched for the source of the sudden noise. Her luminescent blue eyes rested on the large form of a brown tabby. Fluffy white ear tips pricked curiously as the small kit studied him with an earnest expression. Who was he? The first part of the stranger tom that she noticed was his size. He was a tall and giant warrior! If Purekit were to stand beside him, her ears would barely brush his belly. Scanning him up and down, she gave a nervous blink of her blue gaze. His claws looked very dangerous and capable of inflicting great damage. She wouldn't want to come across him in a battle.

As she watched the tom set his fresh-kill on the pile and take a meaty mouse for himself, Purekit backed deeper into the bush, pressing her hindquarters into the rough brown trunk. Hopefully he wouldn't see her! Even though he wasn't her clanmate, the small she-kit wasn't familiar with all the cats of ShadowClan; there were just so many! Her wish to stay hidden, however, was dashed as she watched his spine stiffen, the wind carrying her scent right toward him. Fur fluffed out, the small kit watched with a feeling of an odd mixture of fright, dismay, and curiosity at being discovered by such a powerful looking warrior. As he pushed his face into the bush, Purekit gave a squeak and darted to the side, accidentally bumping into his muzzle in the process.

"Oh, um, hi?" Purekit hurriedly flattened her fluffy fur, hearing the awkwardness in his voice. She was glad he didn't seem angry with her, though her whiskers still twitched with surprise. Purekit reassured herself that he wasn't here to prod, just curious about what she was doing under a weigela bush without her denmates. "Nothin'. Just sitting." Purekit stood up straiter, suddenly realizing she was talking to a great SkyClan warrior. He was really strong looking, after all. "What are you doing?" Curiosity tugged at her paws as she looked up at him with open fascination. Her previous assumption was correct, he was very tall and had to crane her neck to meet his eyes with her own crystal blue ones.

Afterall he was an odd kit who tended to struggle getting along with other kits since he couldn't understand their emotions. He was caught off guard when the she-kit sat up and questioned his motives with her wide blue eyes staring up at him. The brown tom sat up towering above the tiny she-kit who barely reached his underbelly, "The wind helped me pick up your scent I was just making sure nobody got lost." He said simply, "I suppose I'll leave you to your thinking." He said and began to back out of the bush to return to his meal.

Hollypelt tentatively stepped into the clearing, scanning the area. She was still embarrassed about the whole ordeal with Deerspots. She lifted her paws carefully, making sure she didn't run into any other cats, as that angered them. She wanted anything but more enemies. Her head whipped around, looking for someone she knew. Cats passed her curiously, wondering if she was okay. She didn't want to talk to any of them, so as they passed she pranced away. She wiggled up a tree trunk and looked at the bustling clan. Her tail swung back and forth beneath her like a pendulum. Her nose twitched in the air, catching the scent of lively prey that the other cats had already claimed as theirs as they approached the outskirts of the territory.

Chestnutstep dipped her small head to lap at a tuft of fur on her chest. The she-cat was startled out of her thoughts by the scent of her sister, Hollypekt. Lifting her muzzle, she watched her for a moment. As the other cat climbed up a tree, Chestnutstep decided to follow. She hadn't had much time to hang out with her sister, though they used to be very close as kits. As Chestnutstep leaped nimbly into the sturdy tree, she made her way to a strong branch beside Hollypelt.
"Hey," she meowed, smiling.

Oh, hi," she grinned. "Long time no see, huh? What are you doing?" She inquired. Her paws shifted on the rough bark, and the wind swayed the leaves gracefully. "It's so nice up here, away from all the hustle and bustle. I could stay here forever." She smiled and closed her eyes, tilting her head up to the warm sun. "What do you want to do today?"

He had too. And someone had turned on her. Gingerblossom could have died. "I... oh, Gingerblossom... wow." Mouse dung. For all his skills with flirtatious words, when it came to actual comfort, Blazingcomet was quite clearly lacking in several areas. That wasn't any good. Great, so he was here without any way to actually make the she cat feel better. That was his goal... for the moment. Instead of speaking, the young warrior curled his tail tighter around her and gently touched his nose to her ear in a caring manner. Good enough? Probably, but Blazingcomet felt the slightest bit guilty afterwards. For having a mate and all, and not really being flirty with the other she cat.

But, without him having to say anything else, the pretty young feline had changed the subject. Onto something much lighter. "I'd have to say either new-leaf or leaf-bare. I mean, I know a lot of cats don't like it, but the snow is beautiful! I don't like the weather or anything, but I-" He stopped and looked at her. Maybe Blazingcomet had been spending too much time around the she cat! He was beginning to ramble. That wasn't a lot like him, but it was nice to feel free with her. Like he didn't really have to flirt. It was almost like she was accepting him no matter what he did. And Blazingcomet loved that. His golden optics gleamed with pleasure and he gave the she cat a bright smile. "What about you? What's your favorite season, Gingy?" It was a cute little nickname for her. He liked it. He called her a lot of things. Maybe he should start calling her 'flower' since she seemed to like them so much, that would be cute! Yeah... flower. Blazingcomet liked that.

Gingerblossom was glad the orange tom cat only had a few words to say about what she had just told him. The calico hated dwelling on the past. It was too much for her sweet little mind to handle. But then again, she thought that was normal for everybody.
As Blazingcomet mentioned his favorite season was leaf-bare, she cocked her head a little bit. She had never heard any cat say that, Blazingcomet happened to be the first. But that was at least something they had in common. When he asked her her own question back, she was ready with the answer. She didn't even bat an eye at the nickname he gave her. It was affectionate, yes, but she also was super excited to respond to him to acknowledge the nickname at the moment.

"You're the only cat I've met who's said they like leaf-bare too! I LOVE leaf-bare! Most cats would see me as a new-leaf kind of cat, but I really like leaf-bare. Of course I like all the seasons, but leaf-bare is my favorite. It freezes everything, seeming to make the world stand-still for a moment. It slows things down, and it gives you a chance to appreciate the beauty of nature around you!" Gingerblossom paused for a moment to take a breath. "And it's the season that leads into new-leaf, which breathes new life into things after all the old have died away!
She could go on for hours and hours about the seasons, and how each one meant something special to her. But she reminded herself that other cats wanted a chance to talk to. So Gingerblossom closed her mouth, looking at Blazingcomet expectantly with her large minty colored eyes.

((No worries, hope you had fun. Also, sorry for the short post. I've been rather busy.))

Purekit flicked one small ear as she listened to the tom speak. Well, she thought silently to herself with a twitch of her thin whiskers. He seems all right. As he began to back out of the bush where she was hiding, Purekit felt a sudden tug of urgency. Instinctively, the she-kit quickly shot out one fluffy paw to stop him, the gesture similar to that of RiverClan when they have the desire to catch a fish in the river. She wanted to know what his name was! Withdrawing her paw, Purekit open her tiny mouth and spoke again. "What's your name?" She asked, curiosity sparkling in her light, crystal blue orbs, such an unusual color for a wild cat.

She meowed, finishing off the thought. "And I guess we could hunt. That's always productive!"

"Hunting... I haven't done that in a long time. Sounds nice..." She looked towards the training grounds and the grass swaying in the breeze. "It's a perfect day for it." She hopped off the tree with a thump and stretched for a moment, before looking back up the tree and calling out to her sibling. The bark under her paws crumbled and she dropped to the ground. "You ready to go now?" she laughed. She was ready to do something besides sitting around, even if it meant hunting.
