Stonegaze made his way back to camp. He hoped to speak with Ravenstar, next time the tom was around. As far as the gray warrior knew, the leader had not yet heard of the incident.

Ravenstar started walking toward the fresh kill pile and took a crown, so did his son Tinyflame. "I wish mother survived like Nightlight." Tinyflame sighed. "It's different," Ravenstar replied "She died giving birth to you, my beautiful son. Nightlights wounds are easier to handle. Even the most skilled medicine cat could not help her. she was sick, and gave birth too early. I see it as my fult... I was the one to fall in love with her and have kits.. well, a kit. But it was her or you to go to starclan, there is nothing we can do about it," Raven star smiled. "You are the only thing I could have asked for." Tinyflame looked down at his paws "I'll keep my hopes up" He said as he picked up his crow and walked over to the warriors den. "ah, he'll grown up sooner or later." Ravenstar whispered to himself.
