Weepingwillow sat in her nest, curling her tail around Emberkit. The queen had been fretting and cleaning as her other two kits, whom now resided in the medicine cats den, had whitecough. Poor Cinderkit and Skykit. Sighing gently Weepingwillow let Emberkit nuzzle his tiny black and ginger fur into her light grey and ginger fur. The queen blinked gently, she hadn't cleaned out her nest recently, the weight of dealing with three kits, two across the camp, was catching up to her. Weepingwillow hadn't shown her sadness of not having her kits with her, but as she began to mope and be bit more down, her true emotions were starting to show. Weepingwillow rested her chin on the side of her nest and sighed.

Vinekit popped her head into the nursery and spotted Softdaisy and Weepingwillow. "Oh, hey you two! Can I help you with anything? Wolfhive just chewed me out for not completing my punishment." She meowed and her eyes widened. "N-not that I'm just caring for you because of that! I do want to help its-" Vinekit apologized and shook her head.

Softdaisy looked to up at the voice that piped up to speak with her. “Hm?” Oh. She knew this kid. She’d seen them interact with her sister, or so she thought. “Oh, I… yes, definitely.” Her eyes softened. “Could you get new moss for me… my bedding isn’t as sturdy as I thought. Thirteen little ones will do that to a nest!”

Weepingwillow blinked. "Hm. Yes. Have Emberkit help you." Weepingwillow mewed, nudging Emberkit. "Get up, go help Vinekit gather moss to bring here." Weepingwillow meowed. Watching Emberkit yawn and obidently nod to his mother. Emberkit padded to Vinekit with a shy look of hello

Chasmkit was bored and there was hardly anybody to play with. So, an idea came to her mind. She crouched badly and snuck up on an unsuspecting cat. Chasmkit jumped onto them.
