You don’t hear your apprentice ceremony twice, and now you can’t hear a warrior speaking just a couple paw steps away… what is wrong with you. The kitten, though he should’ve been an apprentice of 2 moons, frowned and his ears pinned back even though Patchkit was annoyed at himself not so much the warrior. They looked away, “Nothings wrong.” He mewed out sharply, glaring at the warrior with vibrant green eyes.

That made Patchkit very upset now, the kitten bared his teeth a smidge as lashed his weirdly round tail as much as he could. “So? You aren’t my mom! So just leave me alone, go bother some other kit.” Patchkit was having a harder time making out Spottedtail’s words now that it seems the Molly was speaking softer. It almost blurred in with the ambience and it made Patchkit irrationally upset, but he bit his tongue about it.

Even though he focused some of the words got lost but Patchkit certainly heard enough to understand the sentence. Maybe this cat was a worse listener than he was and that was really saying something. The ginger kitten frowned, “What part of ‘leave me alone’ means I would want you as a mentor?” He huffs out, nearly appalled by the suggestion, but not really he was being dramatic. “Besides I wanna be a tunneler, not a regular warrior.” He actually wasn’t sure about that but he just wanted this cat to stop bothering him.

Once more started by the sudden appearance of someone near him without any warning, it only served to make his mood worse, the feeling quadrupled when this stranger Kit decided to scold him for no good reason. He hissed under his breath. “Hush up. At least I’m not the cats sneaking up and scaring den mates for no good reason.” At least Flickeringkit actually spoke at a non whispering volume unlike the warrior. He pointed a paw from Flickeringkit to Spottedtail, “Great, you two be friends and stop bothering me.” He was tired and angry, he just wanted to be left alone.
