Willow could barely hold back all of the emotion. She was excited that she was a trainee, but slightly saddened that she may drag Fluke down. At the same time, she was relieved to have Fluke as a teacher. But she was shocked that she was actually becoming a trainee. And to become a Loyalty. She finally looked back at Fluke with hope in her eyes.

Willow grinned in return. "I never thought I'd say this," she barked. "But for once, I kind of like it here!" She wagged her tail happily. "So, what do we do first?" She barked, less bubbly.

He grinned. "I was thinking a view of the territory," the High Guard replied. "Althoigh, I think you've seen most of it already with your little escape schemes."

Willow shook her head. "No, only just outside camp. I never really got father than that..." she said, remembering her many attempts to escape. She almost chuckled at her own energy and optimism back then. But that was two moons ago when she lost the optimism. But maybe she would learn to like it here.

"As you probably already know, we live in what's called a desert," Fluke barked. "There isn't much water here, but we do have a small stream running through our territory, and a water hole in camp." He paused and turned to her. "Just so you know, we won't be spending much time out here today. It gets hot fast here."

Willow nodded, realizing she was already starting to get hot. Naturally, she started to pant. "How big is the desert?" she asked out of curiosity. As she looked around, it seemed to stretch on forever.
