He continued to gently lick the herbal liquid onto his shoulder wound. "Face me a bit so I can get your chest wound," he asked gently, eyes kind. "And I'm sorry if I pried." he mewed shyly, his voice sincere. He bent down and sniffed the leaves he had left, chewing up more leaves. He didn't like to pry in other cats business, asking questions simply out of curiosity.

The tom did as he was told, facing the other and lifting his chin slightly. He flicked his tail at what Perci said next. “It's fine,” He mumbled, not wanting to even talk due to the wounds that were making him feel weak. He knew ‘Its fine’ wouldn't be very convincing, and that he had just a little more he could say, but he didn't feel like doing anything but lay down and take a nap forever. He knew the other tom was just curious, but he also didn't like when cats asked too many questions. Perceval didn't ask a lot or anything, but he didn't want him to be one of those cats who got on his nerves. He had too many of those.

She'd thought that she could just take a bit of a break from her work by making sure her den was tidy, though she wasn't all that disappointed in the voice which sounded behind her as well. Turning around, she could see her mate, Onyx- somebody who wasn't really the most reliable cat, but who had rescued her from hard times, which she'd often felt she had to repay him for. Bleddyn, her first mate, was a monster- and the kits she had with him always reminded her of their father, no matter how hard she tried. In fact, Onyx was training one of them, who she called Cal in her head- though really, none of her kits cared to talk to her much except for one. Chiaki, a full fighter now, who also seemed to idolize her father- she was the only one of her kits who'd formally met him.

"Oh- hello." She tilted her head to the side just for a quick second, trying to get a good look at the tom's jet-black fur and bright blue eyes- he was handsome, that was for sure. "I'm doing fine- a little roughed up, but it's alright." Her eyes darted to a cut on her paw for a second before cutting away again, trying to smile for a second. She was never the happiest cat, but she thought that Onyx liked it when she smiled, and so she'd do it for him. Really, she felt like she could tear somebody's throat out right now- she was stressed out, but somehow the malleable personality she'd carried when she was with Bleddyn still shined through when it came to her new mate. In fact, her old one still haunted her dreams- it hurt. "How's my son doing?" She sighed- referring to Cal as she organized another pile of leaves for a second.

"He's fine." Onyx replied plainly. "He's a strong tom, much like his father." he said, seeming to have a meaning behind what he said, some pained meaning. He constantly wondered if it was a bad idea to kill Bleddyn, but looking at Lilith he knew he saved lives by killing him. Breathing in, he then looked to her again, and smiled as she smiled at him. He did indeed like it when she smiled, he felt he was doing a good job at keeping her steady, sane at least. Even if he was insane. He gave her a soft lick to her cheek lovingly.

"So, darling, besides endless herb sorting, have you been able to get out to see the world?" he asked, knowing how she was sometimes how she'd keep herself in the den to just get away from the hate that's outside of it. He didn't like that. He was always trying to get her to see the world. "If not, well then leave those alone. You need some fresh air." he said, giving her a smile. He was calm, cool, content, his eyes showed it, and his handsome smile, the one that grabbed her when they first met, showed it. Take away his scars and he'd be one of the most handsome toms in the syndicate. Having bypassed his old plans, new ones have arisen in his mind.

"Okay." the hairless tom said softly, focusing on his work. He grazed his tongue gently across the others chest, trying not to hurt him in anyway. It was a pretty awkward place to be licking, seeing as usually mates only got this close but,it was his job after all. To heal cats. "Sometimes I don't see why we resort to violence, when it just hurts us in the end." he mumbled softly, still applying the herbs to the toms chest. It was true, he wasn't one for violence at all, hated it infact. He was a peacemaker, rather then a fighter, which is what lead him to his role as a healer. He liked to heal cats, to make them better and not hurt anymore, but he wish he didn't have to heal, that there were no injuries in the first place.
He sighed.

She placed down the herbs she was working on and quickly paced over to were the tom was. She said nothing verbally to him, though as her eyes darted back and forth gazing at the damage, it could be said her eyes were speaking for her. Rosaleen had learned that it was probably best to keep a tongue shut when in the presence of other Syndicate cats, only really speaking if needed to or if one commanded her to. After evaluating the tom's injury, she steps over to the side of him and with soft yet bold voice, she cooly says, "Follow me," She stays at his side while taking him to the nearest empty nest so he can place some of his weight on her to help him walk a bit easier. In her mind, she was already going through the procedures on how to patch him up, her lips moving a bit as she reads through her mental list.

The tom watched as the Healer approached him in silence. He wasn't sure if the cut was bad or not... of course, it was bad enough for him to come and seek attention for the wound. Kacey wasn't sure if he should ask anything, like if it would get infected or maybe not even heal. He wasn't good at assessing wounds, so he was worried that maybe the bleeding wound was worse then it actually was. His shoulder was bad, but it wasn't anything permanent. All he would need was something to stop the bleeding, prevent infection and then rest as the wound closes and becomes sore.

But he still knew nothing of herbs and healing.

The tabby was also unsure of Rosaleen's silence. She wasn't speaking as she observed his wounded shoulder and he felt himself grow more and more nervous at this fact. Maybe I'm reading too much into this? He tries to convince himself to relax. She didn't seem overly worried for him. He supposed that she was use to wounds - despite the lack of patients in a place like this - and she would know whether this was really bad or not.

Kacey perked up when the molly final spoke up. He gave a curt nod and quickly followed her towards the nest that she leading him to. "Is it bad?" He questioned, noticing how she was softly mouthing some of the herbs that she was going to have to give him. His pelt began to rise again as he realized that this wasn't going to be as quick as he had anticipated. "Will it take long? I mean... will I be able to continue my duties soon?" Kacey still didn't want to be considered weak by the others, and staying in her for too long would definitely not be good for him. The tom had tried for moons to soon like he fit in the Syndicate.

"...That's not a good thing." Lilith mumbled, her fur bristling as Onyx replied that Cal was turning out like his father- sure, Bleddyn was strong, but he was a manipulative mastermind who had made her fear for her own sanity when she was with him. She never wanted to see that cat again, not in any of her kits- she hated him too much to even feel good thinking about herself, though not one of the herbs she sorted would make her feel better about who she was. It was a sickness that he'd caused, that would take moons to feel even the least bit better about. She had terrible self-esteem and a rotten attitude, yet she'd put on a smile and tell everybody that she was alright. She didn't want pity, she wanted to move on.

"I've been sorting all day, if that's what you mean- it's dull, but at least it's peaceful in here." The healer sighed, her fluffy tail twitching as she let out a sigh, turning back to her herbs for a second before arching back to face her mate. "Why do I need to go out there if nobody's going to care about my advice?" She'd just recently talked to a fighter with a sharp tongue- Blade, was it? She'd tried to help her, and yet she was brushed off like a kitten. "Being here with you is fine with me." She didn't mention that she'd been badmouthing Onyx as well- she didn't want him to get too mad and start a fight.

After reaching the nest and he nestled in, she immediately went over to the herbs. Now, the healers of Dusk Syndicate weren't as knowledgeable about all herbs, nor do they have access to all of the herbs the forest has to offer. So the herbs all the healers had at the moment were very minimum. She grabs some cobweb from the pile she was organizing earlier. She searched for a thyme herb and a dock leaf, but could not find any in the pile she was looking in. She looked over and spotted some dock and thyme at the pile where another healer was speaking to a dark colored tom. Quickly and quietly, she pads over, grabs the things she needs and with a quick friendly glance of the healer and a curious look of the dark tom before returning to her patient. As she came back, her ears perked up as he asked her a question. She placed the herbs near him and opened her mouth to answer him. "Well, you aren't going to die from it, if that is what you are concerned about." she began, "But no, the wounds are deep, but not too much to cause permanent damage to you." She placed her herbs in order she shall use them, the cobwebs first, then the thyme leaves, then the dock. He made a following question which caused her to give him a strange look. "What do you have to do that is so important for you to do right now?" she huffed, raising an eye. "If you go out and try to do certain duties immediately after I treat them, then the wound will just open up again and I can't really assure you that you will come back alive the second time. So, in order for you to get better, I suggest resting here a bit after I treat your wound and remaining in camp for a while.” She knew many Dusk Syndicate cats, too soaked in their blood stained prides to listen to her advice and will leave immediately anyways, only for them to have more injuries on them. A lot aren't able to survive the second time. Rosaleen doesn't like to think so morbidly all the time, but these deaths just a few foolish Syndicate cats that isn't her responsibility anymore, which would grant her peace of mind, if these cats didn't have cats of their own that were just as foolish and prideful as their parents. And the cycle continues. “Now, before I start, I must clean your wound to prevent infection.” Not a lot of cats wasn't comfortable by getting cleansed and in their defense, Rosaleen completely understands why. It is very uncomfortable to be licked by a cat you don't know, even if it's just to prevent further sickness. It makes you feel vulnerable and uneasy and overall not a good feeling at all. It must be done, however. It is a necessary act to do for the overall well being of a cat.

Aria felt the heat, the new-leaf sun shining on her back making her black fur look brown and glossy. "Yeah...yeah I need to rest...that's all..." Shaking her head and blinking her eyes to make them clear agin she lay down feverishly, a little disorientated.
