Stricken, Mulberry listened as Tundra explained. She felt terrible about how she had acted earlier. "That's okay," she mewed. "Rest up. You can talk later."

Tundra nodded. She felt exhausted. Resting her head on her paws, she let out a long sigh before falling asleep.

Harley padded over to Mulberry. "New cat?" He asked in his southern drawl. "Reckon I should catch sum' prey for the young'n?" He flicked his silver-and-tan white striped tail at Tundra.
