Vixen was getting stronger by the second, but she didn't have much to do. Clawing the ground wasn't working, so she quickly cooked an idea into her brain. 'That other wolf pup, Heron I believe, needs a little cheering up,' she thought. So, she intently watched the fellow member before she gained enough confidence to go talk to him.

Shaking on her paws, she padded over to Heron. "H-hi," she began, trying to make eye contact but nearly failing, "I, uh, heard about your sister, and I thought maybe you could use a cheering up. Want to play together?" She grinned. 'I somehow successfully talked to him! Except for my greeting. Why must I stutter?' Pushing the thought away, Vixen held her breath for his answer.

Vixen only knows Leaf out of the whole pack. She MUST make bonds!))

Willow nodded. She kneaded her paws in the sand. Part of the reason was her impatience. The other part was the intense heat.
