Sunkit's attention went away from the conversation for a moment, and to the food. He ate about half of the vole, before glancing at Carpkit while Shrikeslip was talking about apprenticeship. "You both are far too young to remember.. but a long time ago, I had a mate, we were just apprentices when we went there.. and the last time we went, we found you two as young warriors.. I don't believe either of you would've remembered him, but he loved you as much as I do my little ones." His purr had a hint of sadness, but he cheered up.
