The deputy watched the sick kit gets sicker. And Pebblekit freaking out too made Dirtfur's job even harder. The tabby's mind went fuzzy and heated up, unable to handle this stress. The old warrior wanted to yelled, but he choked his words and plucked Cherrykit up by the scruff.

cherrykit groaned as dirtfur picked her up. cherrykit coughed a little with her eyes remaining half closed, her pelt hot with a fever. am i going to get help from the medic cat...? cherrykit wandered

Dirtfur looked at Pebblekit then at Cherrykit with dull, cloudy amber eyes. "I'm ta'ing her to the Me'ici'en 'en," the deputy tried hard to speak through the hair in his mouth. He lifted Cherrykit and took her to the medicine cat's den and set her down inside the den. "May StarClan guide your paws..." he hoped for the kit.

PebbleKit would sit there looking worried and thinking What’s StarClan? (PebbleKit is still new to the clan and doesn’t know what starclan is)

Nighttuft stretched out as she woke up. The queen looked at her kit and purred. "Wake up." She meowed, licking his small body. "It's time you see the camp. We're going outside the nursery!"

Green'kit seemed to have fallen asleep waiting, she shook awake and bounded out of the nursery for no apparent reason.

cherrykit crept back into the nursery, she was looking around the nursery for sugarapple before they noticed she left the medicine cats den, "s-sugarapple..." she mewed softly with small tears in her eyes. cherrykit was scared to face this illness alone and was losing hope in her own survival, she was seeking the warmth and comfort of her foster mother.

Featherkit bounded over to Cherrykit, looking very concerned. "Cherrykit! Are you okay!?" She looked quite scared, and worried, as she studied her friend.
