Darkpaw realized that he cant kill the rats if he cant hunt! "no..." he said dissapointed. "but ill learn someday!" he began to walk away. He saw a rat sitting in a corner and dropped into a crouch. His tail was swaying from side to side and his ears were perked up. he stalked closer, but he was too loud so the rodent ran away. "dang it!" he meowed in frustration.

Plague went over to Darkpaw, mewing, “You’ll be training today Darkpaw, so you’ll learn how to fight and hunt..” she growled, her pink albino eyes glaring into his.

”Come on, let’s go..” she padded off, leading the apprentice down the ally, before leading him to an narrow area, noticing some rats scurrying about. Bending down, she met the apprentices angle, “Okay, so you need to bend down, make sure your paw steps are quiet, and then sneak..after you pounce onto the rat. It’s fine if you don’t get it on your first try..” she explained, her gaze looking forward at the rate as she explained.

Killer yawned. She didn't know what to do so she padded off. Seeing as everything was going fine she turned to Blood. "Go on then! Go hunt!" she mewed. Blood padded off and crouched smelling a rat. She located it then pounced and killed it.

Darkpaw nodded his head. He crouched down and sneaked towards the rat. His tail was swaying from side to side again. but the rat had noticed him right before he pounced, so it got away. he groaned. Why can't I catch it right away? he thought to himself

”Your tail was swishing was side to side..it shouldn’t be doing that.” She mewed sternly, looking down at him. “Watch me.” She snuck up on one, bent down, her tail barely even touching the ground. Carefully, the albino snuck up on a rat, before pouncing and landing her front paws on the rat, biting and swiftly killing it. “See?” She muffled, before putting it down. “Now, try to look for another, an easy way is to lift your nose and sniff the air, and see where your prey is at.” She described, her ears twitching as she mewed.

Darkpaw listened to what she said. He sniffed to find a rat. He pinpointed it and then saw the rodent. He bent down and made sure that his tail wasnt swaying this time. He quietly snuck up on the rat and pounced. He had caught it! Darkpaw finished it off with a quick, bloody bite. He looked at his mentor for a reply.
