"I- I've only ever caught a shrew though," she admitted. she was sure that leafpaw had Caught more then her, but she didn't want to ask, for many reasons.

"um, well, okay," she mewed uncertainly. she had never gone out hunting without her mentor.
What if I make a fool of myself? she thought. flashes of when she was a kit blaze through her mind all of a sudden. flashes of her trying to do a fighting move. flashes of her failing over and over again. flashes of kits laughing at her....
No,Silverpaw thought firmly, I Won't make a fool of myself. she looked up to see Leafpaw watching her, blushed, them mewed, "sure. I guess we could go hunting."

"I know that you have to keep upwind so the prey doesn't smell you." at least, she thought it was that way. Silverpaw wasn't completely sure that was what was correct though.

Silverpaw nodded, blushing a little. feeling a little foolish she jumped high into the air, stretching out her claws as though reaching to shred the sky. she fell back, landing on all four paws.
"did I do good?" she mewed. she wasn't sure she had, and she reflected that she liked fighting better then hunting, but she didn't mention it to Leafpaw, as he thought she had not done any training in battle.
she wasn't sure, but she thought she liked spending time with leafpaw, especially since camp had started buzzing with fear and uncertainty. but here she could breath, and get away from that for a few moments.
(also, the hint about fighting is her training in the DF. )
