She wanted to scare him a little bit, it was fun to tease him. "Whisperbreeze!" she shouted. After a moment, she yowled for him again. "WHISPERBREEZE!" Turning back to the kits, she began to speak. "You're safe now," she murmured. "Dawnstar can't hurt you." She cried a little as her mate came into view. She nuzzled him affectionately. "Oh, Whisperdarling, I missed you," she murmured. The older she-cat paused for a moment to catch her breath after the walk and screaming. "ShadowClan took over WindClan," she rushed out. "Do you... Have room for a few kits?" She turned around to Featherkit and Spikeykit. She realized she never fully told them what was going on. "Featherkit, Spikeykit," she began. "We - All three of us - have just left WindClan."
