Re: A Crow Call in the Darkness [PRIVATE]
Crowpaw [ @~Fierceclaw~ ] Her nose scrunched for a moment. Did she want this? Well, what type of question was that, of course, she did. As the question was snapped at her, she jumped slightly, fur bristling at the harsh tone. Looks like he wasn't willing to wait for her inner debate. "I..." her mind flickered back to the apprentice's den for a moment, brows furrowing in irritation before she nodded. They made so much racket, going on and on about how they would be the best. She would show those fleabags, she would be the best warrior, and they wouldn't be able to say she wasn't, because she would have extra training. "Yes, I'll train here." |
Re: A Crow Call in the Darkness [PRIVATE]
~Raggedtail~ Raggedtail nodded, satisfied. Flicking his tail for the apprentice to follow him, Raggedtail started walking towards a place where he knew the cat he was looking for was. He kept at a steady pace, not looking back if the apprentice was actually following him. Once he reached the place, he looked around. “Frogfang! I have an apprentice for you!” Raggedtail meowed into the air. If he didn’t get a response, he would have to go looking for the cat himself.:heartbounce: @Pepperkins @feather lily :heartbounce: |

Re: A Crow Call in the Darkness [PRIVATE]
Crowpaw [ @~Fierceclaw~ @feather lily ] Crowpaw followed after the tom hesitantly, leaping down off the stone she had been perched on and struggling to keep up in the dark atmosphere. As he called out a name, her brows furrowed once more. How did he know Frogfang? Wasn't that the warrior that had just been promoted when she was? Why was the tom here in the Dark Forest? A million questions ran through her head but none slipped out as the warrior was suddenly approaching the pair, saying her name. "Erm.. Hello," she responded, fur bristling uncomfortably. |
Re: A Crow Call in the Darkness [PRIVATE]
~Raggedtail~ Raggedtail thought their interaction was amusing. “I guess you guys know each other. I was Shadowclan myself you know. Anyway, Frogfang, Crowpaw has agreed to train here and you will be teaching her. Crowpaw, Frogfang will teach you until he thinks you’ve learned all of it.” Raggedtail meowed. “I’ll leave you to it.” Raggedtail turned around and padded away, the shadows engulfing him.:heartbounce: @feather lily @Pepperkins :heartbounce: |

Re: A Crow Call in the Darkness [PRIVATE]
Crowpaw [ @feather lily ] Her gaze lingered after Raggedtail as he padded off momentarily till Frongfang spoke again. As he explained, she nodded slightly, mostly to herself. So that explained how he knew about him, but it didn't... Her attention was quickly grabbed as he took off, startling the she-cat before she darted after, realizing a chase was supposed to ensue. Lengthening her stride, while it wasn't anything impressive, Crowpaw gained a bit of speed to reach just a tail length behind the tom. She had ran from quite a few foxes retreating to their dens for leaf-bare when she came here on her own. Reaching out a paw when she came just below close enough, with a large leap she was able to grab the tip of the tom's tail, though she quickly lost her grip and went rolling. "Hey wait! I cant- oomph-" |

Re: A Crow Call in the Darkness [PRIVATE]
Crowpaw [ @feather lily ] Rolling over and climbing back onto her paws, Crowpaw gave her pelt a quick shake, ear flicking attentively as she listened. What did he mean by fail? Could you fail training? She didn't have time to think on that idea as he slowed his pace. With a sigh, she was right back at it, dodging the large looming stones and tall trees to catch back up with her new mentor. When did running become so difficult. Perhaps she could catch him in a different way, there was no way this was it. Slipping out of his immediate view, she retreated to the shadows, leaping back onto the rocks to get a better look down as she caught glimpes of his fur through the dark trees. Making her way from stone to stone, she managed to reach his side, immediately turning and pouncing towards the tom, hoping she had timed her jump correctly and would knock into his side as he ran past. |
