"All of you, come here," I call, then begin my decent from the tree. Once I am close enough, I jump. The torch leaves a tail of sparks behind me as I land next to the foot of the tree. I straighten up and wrap my cloak over my right arm when I see that the first person has drawn a katana. I wait for the arrival of the other two.

I am standing behind the 'guardian' and hit them on the head with the hilt of my sword.

I gasped as the Guardian hit the ground. I step closer, weapon still out in my head. "Um.. what are we doing?" I ask, stepping closer.

Something hit the back of my head and I yelp in surprise then topple over. I may have blacked out for a second, but I get to my feet daze. I lunge forward, bowie knife in hand, expecting to find tonight's enemy.

Gasping in surprise, I jump forward and slam my own weapon at the other man. "I may not trust him as well, but he hasn't attacked just yet! Maybe he can help us get the heck out of here!" I yell at the man before turning back to the Guardian.

I hiss as the torch burns out. Through the darkness and my little bit of vison able to see, I see the other person hand what looks to be a lighter to the Guardian, saying that they should know each other's names. I look away, eyes closed. It's just a dream. It's not real. It can't be. But... it feels real. But all dreams feel that way. Shaking off my doubts, I look back. "Fine. My name is Ciara. I'm an assassin, hiding in the streets of the town I live in. I was an explorer, but gave up on that. And you?" I raise an eyebrow at the other man, crossing my arms.

Someone hands me a lighter. I accept it with a mumbled "Thank you," and begin lighting it. Someone talks, the one who didn't hit me, I think. "Pleasure to meat you, Ciara," I say once we have light again, and hold out my hand.
