Leopardfang's eyes widened when Sharpfang said that she was having her kits. That was when she felt the ripples in her belly. She gasped in pain, pinning her ears, gritting her teeth. She yowled out as the first kit came out; Black tom with gray spots. Some blood also came out as well. Leopardfang clawed the ground, her body shaking. "Ow! This hurts!" She hissed, eyes closed in pain.

As the first kit came out, he licked it. "A tomkit!" He mewed. He moved the kit to Leopardfang's stomach for him to get milk. He got the cobwebs ready for the next kit. He looked around for a stick. When he got one, he put it in his mate's mouth. "Bite on this." he instructed. The next kit slipped out onto the makeshift next. It looked exactly like Leopardfang. "A she-kit!" He said as he licked it and put her by her brother.

Leopardfang opened her eyes and saw the kits. She tried to lick them to help them breathe but shot her head up as another spasm gripped her belly, and she bit into the stick, almost breaking it in half as the third kit came out; a splitting image of Sharpfang. More blood came out with the kit, and the she-cat felt faint. One more kit was coming. She could feel it...

As the last kit slipped out, he looked at his mate. "5 kits, all healthy!" he purred. As he looked at his last kit, he saw that it was white, unlike its littermates, which were mixed of Leopardfang and Sharpfang's coats. "Two toms and three she-kits"

Leopardfang felt the pain subside. She reached her head over to look at her kits. Five. Two toms and threw she-kits. "They're... So wonderful... And they're ours..." She licked each kit to help them breath. "We must name them. You make two, I'll name two, and we will name the white one together. Is that ok?"

As night falls on the top of the down, Sharpfang noticed Dawnkit working on a den. As he padded over, he saw that it was big enough to fit all of the cats. He padded back over to his mate and kits. He picked up Sharpkit and Leopardkit. "Dawnkit made us a den." he told her before putting his two kits in the nest. "Thank you, Dawnkit. You did a good job." He said, licking her head. Once he got his kits and mate inside, he padded up to the cliff to gaze at the moon. "StarClan, why have you left us?" he whispered to the moon. As though starclan had heard him, the moon turned blue. He quickly padded back to the den. "Leopardfang, wake up. There's something wrong with the moon." he whispered. He looked down and saw Moonkit looking at him with wide, purple eyes. "Moonkit? Are you okay?"
