Sharpclaw limped into the elders' den and took a look around. It looked cleaner than usual, and just as empty. At least it wasn't a total mess or anything. Feeling satisfied, Sharpclaw turned and left. [Closed]

Goatscrunch scowled at nothing, shuffling in his nest. Everything was so damn uncomfortable! It ain't help none he was pretty sure there was a tick in his neck, them pesky things.

"Ain't right, kids these days. Always slackin' off 'n never takin' care of their elders. What am I, crowfood?"

Mapleface had been walking past the elder's den in a mindless daze, green eyes distant, when she heard a grumbling from the inside. Tufted ears swiveled with bewilderment as she picked up on the ire in said elder's tone. Poking her head into the den, the Red Queen blinked at Goatcrunch, and then let her gaze drift to the empty space beside him. "Who are you talking to?" Mapleface asked, and then shook her head, recalling what Goatcrunch had been mumbling about in the first place.

"Is there anything you need help with?" Emerald hues caught onto the elder's shuffling movements. "I can fetch you fresh moss." Her lips pressed into a thin line, resolve wavering a moment. Had Crackles still been a part of ThunderClan, she would have chastised him for something like this. Would have made him accompany her to retrieve new bedding and then had apologize to the neglected elders. But he wasn't here, and Mapleface couldn't change that.

Feathernose popped in, just to check on the Clan's seniors. "Heya, anyone needs help?" the perky warrior asked, ear flicking in greeting. She was pretty sure Goatscrunch was wanting some assist, the way he was grumbling all to himself. @BEAR.

"Yeh!" Goatscrunch huffed at Mapleface and Feathernose. His grumps were valid, damnit, and he'd be heard!! "I gots a tick in my neck, my moss ain't right, and them kids ain't do dung. Warriors like ya got more impor'ant things to do than come 'n 'ere." Not that he ain't flattered now, it nice to know the adults cared.

Feathernose smiled at Mapleface, amused by the elder's reply. Goatscrunch's rebuke was honestly rather sweet to her, a typical grumpy-elder 'bah to apprentices!' kind of thing. "Well, do you wanna help out with the tick or the moss? I'm fine with anything," she purred to Mapleface, and facing the elder mewed that they'd get everything sorted out.

Horseshine walked in as he was told he had help the apprentices and Mapleface get the ticks off of the elders.
"Hey Mapleface need any help I was sent in here so im all yours!!."Horseshine said happily.

Silverkit bored to death decided to hear a story from one her favorite elders! Tansyjaw! She pads into the elders den, searching for Tansyjaw, Tansyjaw! She meowed a bit louder than she intended to, but whatever, she waits for a reply

Why was a child calling for her? Why on earth had the little molly, Silverkit she thought, decided it was HER attention required rather than her parents or something. Or was she one of the little pests who hadn't got a proper guardian, either through a disreputable birth or unfortunate circumstances. Tansyjaw didn't remember at that moment, so she settled for a terse but not impolite Yes Silverkit? Did you need something? Hopefully nothing terribly exciting was going on and the child could be ushered away swiftly. (Don't mind Tansy, she's just grumpy) @Amber2010

HI!!!!! She squeeled happily, I was wondering if you had a story to tell me? I am SOOO BORED, meowed silverkit not noticing that Tansyjaw wasn't in the mood!
