No one had been eaten by the roaming hyenas yet, which was good. It was great, actually. Anywho, time to start. “First, we will begin with some… shocking news.” Witheredstar began, grimacing a bit as she thought about what happened “Me and Hyenaslash went out a few days ago, and we found something. We found the caracal.” She was silent for another moment. “It-She was heavily injured, and left us something before…” She had to stop herself from hesitating “Before she went off to die.” Another long moment of silence, for The Great Caracal itself. “we shouldn’t grieve on this news long.” She stated, more firm now “The Caracal left us a legacy to uphold, and someone to care for.” It wasn’t long after she said it before that tiny caracal kit came bounding out of the medicine den, clearly tired of being cramped up. It looked much less malnourished now, thanks to Hyenaslash. “This kit is the child of the caracal. Though he will have to learn our language, we will still give him a name, and he will be apart of the clan.” A name. “His name will be Morningkit.” Morningkit seemed to be looking around at all the different looking cats. “Now, moving on to ceremonies.” Witheredstar continued “Sparkkit, Solarkit. Stand below the tree.” |

StarWalker Yawned, Sitting In His Place Near His Younger Sister. He Couldn't See This... Young Caracal. But He Could Feel His Presence. Morning kit Is A Blessing To This Clan. He Could Fell The Aura, The Great Aura He Gave Off Hit Him In Strong Waves.

Sicklepaw eyes widened incredulously, but he remained silent. The caracal.. Dead? Sicklepaw had never been sure if he had even believed in it- or her existence. He was never the believer type, which made him feel somewhat alone in clan life, in which Starclan seemed to be at the center of everything.
The caracal's kit! How unbelievable, and yet he was looking at it with his own eyes. So many questions to be asked, and then Witheredstar moving on to ceremonies, so casually too. Sicklepaw tilted his head and pondered this quietly. |

HYENASLASH Hyenaslash padded out from the medicine den he kept a close eye on the kiddo currently stationed in his den and reluctantly padded over to where the meeting was being called he looked around at the few warriors they had man had the predators been bad this season but with this spring of so called luck maybe things we’re turning around he heard a kit be called forward and saw a familiar face solarkit hmm I wonder who witheredstar will appoint this ball of fur to the thought gruffly |

She gave Starwalker a respectful nod at the comment. Both kits she had called had stepped forward. Time to get to it, then. “Firstly, Sparkkit.” She began “From this day on, you will be known as Sparkpaw. You will hunt for the clan, fight for the clan, and defend what you believe is right. Your mentor, Rabbitwhisker, will pass on her skills to you.” Now for Solarkit. She hadn’t exactly… had a talk with Hyenaslash about this quite yet, but she knew it was necessary, and he would be able to handle this, right? “We have been struggling this season of Drywinds, and Hyenaslash has needed an extra paw.” This had to be the right decision “Solarkit, from this day you will be known as Solarpaw, and you will train as a medicine cat under Hyenaslash. You will learn to heal your clanmates with paws as steady as him.” Witheredstar cast a quick glance in Hyenaslash’s direction, to see how he would react, but she didn’t look long. “That is it for this meeting.” She finally concluded “If any of you would like to speak to me about anything, come see me in my den.” She then leaped down from the large tree, using a few of the branches so the fall wasn’t as long, and went into her den for the time being. Though, a few things still troubled her mind. Had the hyenas killed the caracal? It was hard to tell just from the injuries alone. And, how well was Morningkit going to adjust? |

Solarpaw jumped with joy! She had always wanted to be a medicine cat, and now she was! She padded over to Hyenasplash, asking, "Whatdowedofirst?" forgetting to breathe. She was so excited.

Hyenaslash sighed of course he got put with an excitable hairball.He would have to whip this new apprentice into shape of course he would give grace when needed but he had high expectations “First off slow down I can hardly understand ya..alright I’m going to show you the medicine den first that’s where Ty pull be most of the time aswell I want to keep and eye on morningkithe said curtly padding away not waiting for solarpaw to follow if she was going to be his apprentice then she would have to learn to follow him @Hollyheart of thunder |

Starwalker Wandered Camp, Tail Swaying Steadily Behind Him. His Paws Were Carefully Placed So That He Looked Like An Ordinary Cat. Not A Blind One. He Looked Around, And Padded Out Of Camp, And Sat On A Rock. The Great Caracal, I Am Truly Sorry For You Having To Leave US Like That. You Were A Bit Older Than Me, And I'm..... Nearly 75 Moons At This Point... Oh, Great Stars Above, Protect Our Dear Guardian. He Sighed, Grey-Blue Hues Staring At The Stars. Oh, How He Missed His Parents. Well, His Mother. His Father Had Caused Him To Get Blinded By A Lion, Pushed Him Into The Lion As An Apprentice. That's Why Mother Chose WitheredStar To Be Leader, She Could Handle It Better. Being Able To See, Run, Climb And All At The Time. He Let Out A Few High-Pitched Chirps, Like Bats Did, To Understand His Surroundings Better... A Figure Was Near Him. He Stood Up And Placed Himself Into A Battle-Ready Position. His Fangs Bared, And His Large Ears Forward, He Let Out A Hiss. Rotting Meat Came To His Nose, What A Horrid Scent. He Clawed What Was Infront Of Him, And Heard Heavy Paws Retreating.

<~> Bluebell’Drift <~> 25 Moons | They / Them | Cautious, Kind, Stubborn ———— A blue-gray and white shape emerged from the warriors den, sniffing the air cautiously for.. just about anything. The cat gazed around the camp, their gaze dashing between the many cats in the clearing. Bluebell was new to clan life so Sunclan was the only clan they knew. They just hope they didn’t think they were a she-cat or a Tom. Cuz they’d get mad as hell if they assumed their gender. But ofcourse, that besides the problem. They were hungry. Perhaps these fur brains had caught some prey back cuz they weren’t going out to hunt. They wanted to see if they could trust the other clan members. But most of all, they wanted an apprentice to show they could be trusted. Bluebell padded towards the prey pile, their gaze slinking side to side as they made sure no one else padded up to them and tried to start a conversation. Pawing aside some prey, they snatched a silverbird. Back to the warriors den before someone tries to talk with me. I don’t trust anyone here. They thought, quickly but carefully pacing to the warriors den, laying right next to the entrance, curling up with the Silverbird laying infront of them. Sinking their teeth into the bird, they began to chow down on the prey resting infront of their paws. [ OPEN ] |

<~> Bluebell’Drift <~> 25 Moons | They / Them | Cautious, Kind, Stubborn Bluebell felt a growl rumble in their throat as their gaze fell upon the cat they were supposed to patrol with before flying out of camp and into the territory, somewhere the cat shouldn’t find without following their scent. Bluebell was not the cat to send on patrol but ofcourse they were already chosen. But they weren’t going near those furbrained fools. Pull yourself together, Bluebell! You gotta cooperate or you’re gonna be back in the barn like before. They muttered under their breath. [ @Desert Rain Frog // Starwalker ] [ RabbitWhisker // @Kacey! ] … After heading farther out into the territory, the blue-gray and white cat began to scan the area around them. Falling into a crouch, the cat locked its gaze on a small Silverbird and it chowed down on a bread it had found- probably from those housefolk down at the barn. Making sure to step lightly, they crept forward. Pressing down on the haunches, Bluebell leapt and… [ Rolling Dice ( 4 ) ] … they landed just barely on the Silverbird, holding onto it tightly as it tried to flutter away but quickly, it came to a stop with a loud CRACK! They tossed the lousy bird to the side and covered the prey with dirt, hoping to hid it scent before continuing. One more prey to bring back cuz they weren’t gonna put any more effort than this since the clan wasn’t trusted to her yet. But that’s beside the point. After creeping around, the cat pinpointed a… hmm.. 2 things? 2 elephant shrews? Yum! Maybe if they just line up their pounce, leapt, and… [ Rolling Dice ( 5 ) ] … after a good leap, Bluebell’s paw fell straight on one, where her claw dug into the other’s side. That was close. They almost let them go. Instead of lifting their paws, they bent carefully to grab on of the shrews in her mouth, biting hard on the elephant shrew’s vine to kill it before doing the same to the other. A lucky hunt. They knew the clan would be amazed. But they did care. Following the scent trail back to the buried Silverbird, she dug it up, trying to make it to where they could carry the 2 elephants shrews and the Silverbird. Into camp they padded, the prey clamp in their jaws, tossing it down into the pile before grabbing a second silverbird, like the one they’d got before the patrol. That other cat can patrol on their own cuz Bluebell was a loner. They wouldn’t hunt with another cat. Either way, they were busy now. |

And I hunted. Now I’m resting and I’m eating.” They added, placing their paw firmly on the half-eaten Silverbird before eating the last bit. ”And now I’m off to the den to sleep. “ Rising to their paws, Bluebell glared once more at the cat before heading to the warriors den, sitting down to give their fur a reassuring lick before laying down, paws tucking under them as they lay their head down on the heather in her nest. If that furbrain was gonna boss them around, it had another thing coming. And if they dare try to ruin the cat’s nap, they’d go running to the other side of the forest. [ So sorry! With Bluebell’s caution comes their protectiveness. It’s because Bluebell doesn’t trust Starwalker! :heartbounce: ] |

THE CHILD OF THE CARACAL -a caracal kit- Morningkit-He/Him 1 Moon ——————— Morningkit didn’t understand a word these funny looking cats were saying. Well, he was starting to, that spotted one that smelled like plants was helping him learn. Right now, though, he was eyeing up the fresh kill pile. He was just big enough to eat some solid food, but he had been weaned from his mother quite early on. His large ears perked as he looked at all the strange cats around him. It was so weird, honestly. [OPEN, just felt silly and did a Morningkit post] |

Vixenkit Vixenkit wandered around Sunclan for a while before looking up at The Tree Of Many. They stared at it for a while before a leaf fluttered onto their nose. Vixenkit batted it and pretended they were a warrior, pouncing on prey. They jumped again, but tripped and landed on their side. Vixenkit stood and shook it off, eventually continuing to jump on the leaf. |
