They're no good after they wilt, so a word of advice...keep them under the frost, they stay good for longer." |

Re: Dusk Syndicate Healers' Den
( @fenic! ) Onyx walked into the Healers den, his eyes a bit wide. He had just woken up from his dream, talking with Bleddyn in the Dark Forest. His mind raced. Lilith with kits? My kits for that matter... This is not how I pictured this... he thought and looked around. The smell of herbs filled his nose, and he wrinkled his nose slightly. He finally caught the sight of Lilith, and padded up to her. "Good Evening, Lilith." he meowed, and say on his haunches. "I was wondering if I could get my shoulder patched and have a chat with you..." he said. A cut lined his right shoulder, but it was nothing like the scar that lined his left. |

"...Huh? Onyx, what did you do do your shoulder?" Lillith asked her mate, surprised that he would hurt himself when he knew better than to do that. "You keep picking fights- that's gonna hurt you really badly some day, you know?" Her voice sounded a bit nervous- she'd been monitoring her own health lately, having felt sick and bloated, possibly a stomachache. The other choice- she didn't want to talk about that. |

"Oh, yes I know." Onyx replied, and gave a small smile. "You know, I saw Bleddyn today... in the Dark Forest. He told me something..." he started, and looked at her. "First he said that he was going to use Chiaki against us... and second..." he paused, his eyes softening. "He said that you were with kits..." he said after a few moments. He had no anger, no resentment. He saw how much a kit changed his own brother, how could he be mad? He wasn't like Bleddyn, who only wanted kits so he had a legacy. The Oriental's blue orbs were softened, his pupils wide. If Bleddyn was right, then he had to know, because his kin would be the first thing Bleddyn would use against him. He didn't want that. Bleddyn was wrong about one thing. That Lilith would never recover from the things he did. Onyx had been by her side through every melt down, every fight and everything she needed him for. She was already doing well, though some scars never fade. |
Re: Dusk Syndicate Healers' Den
Pistachio wiped a few herbs away and jumped when she heard Onyx behind her He's strong and has no respect for cats like me she shook the thought away and went back to work, if she wanted to be a good healer, she'd have to not be such a wimp about others.

"...Are you accusing my daughter of being a traitor? She's like your best friend- he's trying to pit you against her, I'm sure." Lillith insisted, her eyes narrowing as her own mate tried to accuse her daughter of a crime she knew Chiaki would never commit, just because she loved her family too much to ever side with a liar like Bleddyn. "And I- I'm not with kits. He's trying to trick you, and I'm honestly surprised that you would listen to his words and not think about how much he lied when he was alive, when he betrayed almost everyone he talked to!" She wasn't sure about her own health- she wasn't certain, and so she'd deny the fact. It was how the molly worked, never trying to admit that it was possible, that she could be with kits and wouldn't even know about it. |

"Lilith, this is a serious matter. If you're with kits, you know the first thing he's going to go after? Them. Do you want another issue with that back stabbing fool? You have already gone so far, it will kill your mind. You know I'm an empath. You have some worry in you.fear that I might be right." his voice had some kind of desperation. "I'm not Bleddyn. I won't leave you like he did. I won't run off for another. I won't grow angry at your snappy tongue. That's what makes you, you. He never saw that. I trust you, Lilith. Can I say the same about you?" |

Onyx couldn't help but to be angry at himself, believing Bleddyn, but Chiaki had been distant. He felt that he had a duty to believe Lilith, and if Bleddyn himself was going to get into his mind, then maybe Lilith had a right to be mad at him. Though most cats would snap back at her, or just end it there, he wouldn't. After a moment of thought he said a few words almost every syndicate would never say. "You're right. I'm wrong for accusing Chiaki." he said plainly with a sigh, his eyes staring down at his paws. "I'm sorry, I guess I'm getting a bit too sure of myself." With another small sigh, he looked up at Lilith and stood. "Thanks for the help with my shoulder. But Lilith, take care, will you?" he sighed, and began to pad out of the den. |

Pastelle padded inside, dragging her paws along the firmly-packed soil of the ground. The healer's den was not very spacious, yet not cramped either. The many crevices of the den were filled with a various amount of herbs, giving off an earthy smell. The tortoiseshell's first instinct was to back away and retreat back into the clearing- who knows that kind of plants are in here, that could seriously mess up my life? but she didn't want to be known as weak for not entering a mere den. "Shadow, you should heal him now." She said, as if the procedure was a magic trick. Her eyes were focused on Shadow and Slash alone; no other cats could captivate her attention, and the aroma of herbs and freshly-picked plants would be dizzying if she focused on it for too long. |

"Look Ash, thats fine...I busy right now anyway." She turned her head. "And you are here because?" She asked. Shadow set her paw down, sighing. "Do you need something?" She mewed. Shadow's gaze looked down at a small pile of herbs. She carefully began to sort trew them. I wish Spring would come...I feel like I'm withering away day by day But, Shadow was young, and without her old amount of prey, her patients could live longer. She pawed the leaves in piles, counting each. "I may need to get more poppy seeds..." She muttered.

Re: Dusk Syndicate Healers' Den
Pastelle nodded when Shadow ordered her to get some prey. It was so strange, taking orders from an inferior. She almost was tempted to retaliate back, but what was the point? She’d probably do the same if Slash asked her to, and he most likely did need some prey for his empty stomach. -- By the time she came back, with energized legs and a limp skinny squirrel hanging from her jaws, the molly scented another she-cat staying close to the bunch. Under further inspection, Pastelle realized what her name was, and that she was Shadow’s friend, or companion healer, or something of the sort. Ash. What a common, run-of-the-mill name. The tortoiseshell dropped the squirrel in front of Slash and listened to the other molly’s comment. Isn’t the transfer from a healer to a fighter nearly impossible though? Assuming that Ash is a healer. Because being a healer is so lesser in rank, and it’d take time to move up. And then another cat spoke up- Aldrin, someone that she’d seen at some point in her life. What was he doing in the healer’s den? Was he getting healed too? Or was he just musing around for the fun of it? Pastelle had little to do with the fighter, so she decided to ignore him for the time being. In fact, she was just sitting and peering around from cat to cat. |

Pastelle shrugged at Slash’s comment, since it had nothing much to do with her, but she’d rather not let the piece of prey go to waste- especially one in the midst of leaf-bare. Many rodents would be hibernating by this point, in their winter-long slumber. Others probably traveled to a more suitable habitat. But that poor, unfortunate squirrel did neither, and it was now prey. Perfect for keeping other cats alive. It shouldn’t be so quickly discarded. And plus, she spent effort to go out into the chilly forest- but it wasn’t as if she liked the healer’s den that much better. “I’ll eat it if you don’t change your mind.” The molly said to Slash as an afterthought, looking down at the half-eaten carcass. Her whiskers then twitched as her head swiveled towards Shadow, with a new question approaching her mind. “How long would the healing be?” |

Shadow shrugged and looked over at the wound. "Depends really, I'm not sure how the herbs effect him." She mewed. "Five days at the most, in two the fever should clear up and the wound should heal soon after. If it doesn't then Ill have to stuff slash with feverfew and poppy seeds. The only problem with that is winter is here and the herbs are withering away. I need some other cat to help me get all the herbs I can." Shadow streached her back, "I'm so tired, I feel like I'm older then I actually am these days..hehe.." The healer sighed, walking over to the herb store. She pawed the leafs into place, then grabbed a few contend and added them to slash's poorly dressed wound. "But I'm a healer, it would be almost impossible for me to get a hunter or a fighter to come with me. They would be best, since that new clan came near." Shadow shook her pelt and looked over at Slash and Pastelle. |

Aria limped into the den, the smell of sweet herbs filling her mouth and nose. She was beaten up and tired...but the reason she was here was for the large slash across her face. The blood that was splattered everywhere, like a bright red paint smothered all over her silky black face. Her eyes were wide with terror. "I'm so sorry shadow, a-are you busy?!" She wheezed desperately, trying to catch enough air for the next breath.
