[well it took me forever to get to it pfft] Doetuft was resting once again, those stupid buzzard wounds were taking their fine time to heal and she was not taking it. Nope, was not taking it at all and was totally going to smack Irisflame if it was her cousin who'd made it so the wounds took slower than initially to heal. Ears perked though she waited out the time and just... existed. That was until she heard the swearing of the other cat and she couldn't help but let out a huff, something she'd begun to do more often but... it was normal. Stretching forward though she lifted herself up, ignoring the pain in her hind leg that was still healing and made her way over. "Some... cat did... hear you." She acknowledged with a flicker of her ears and a slightly amused huff leaving her nose as well. |

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
The large warrior stood near the edge of the gorge, tail lashing back and forth slowly in a restrained show of frustration. Gardening was useless and a waste of his time. Why he had even chosen to participate was a mystery. Instead of overseeing a group of kittens, he could've been doing something productive, like hunting. His time had been wasted, so it was necessary to make up for that.
Taking a step into one of the decidedly smaller dens, Talonstone looked around. All the lazy slugs were still hiding away in their nests. Pathetic. It was time for them to get their legs moving. Clan of shadows or not, they should still be up and ready to go by dawn. Of course, there would be a pawful of felines who were only pretending to be asleep. It was those cats who the warrior was expecting to attract. "Apprentices!" he meowed loudly into the previously silent den. "Wake up - we are going hunting. Meet me near the edge of camp if you wish to come. Remember, your leader will not approve of laziness." |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Shrewpaw had been laying in his nest, really just contemplating the day and trying to decide if he wanted to go back to sleep when Talonstone yelled at them. He couldn't really do the first bit of the instruction, since he was already awake, but he figured he could handle the rest of it. Shaking his fur rapidly, he slipped out without crunching anyone, which was good, and mewed softly I'm here! And I'm not being lazy! Funny how he seemed to be one of the least lazy apprentices, but he'd probably take forever to become a warrior. He could hunt as well as any cat, but his fighting skills weren't the best. @bmkmb

// @bmkmb [ h e l l y e a i've been trying to think of a starter for fallow for hours and i almost cried seeing this, let's gooooo ] With the booming call that rang through the shady den, Fallowpaw had no choice but to finally rise from his spot in his nest. Mentioning the big bad leader to scare the weak little apprentices? Of course, he thought to himself with a chuckle. He'd been awaiting his mentor, Dogsnarl, patiently from his bed the entire morning, but to no avail. Honestly, Talonstone's thunderous meow was good enough for him. He hadn't been hunting with a group since his old mentor up and disappeared on him so it should be a fair experience. Padding out to the snow white warrior, the sandy tabby tomcat swept by his superior silently, expression blank as always. His claws itched for a hunt and if he was out and about without his mentor, he wanted to get this over with. |

"You're going to make me eat it, aren't you?" Russetpaw huffed, a gleam of faint amusement hidden in her eyes. |

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
// @gs29513 | @KITSU. | @Daunting Drago0n - [No posting order necessary. Have your apprentice follow Talon into the territory. Communicating with other apprentices is fair game, but wait until Talon responds again before doing any actual hunting.]
Only three felines showed up. To be honest, Talonstone had expected more, especially with twenty-something apprentices currently residing within the clan. It was still early in the morning, however - too early for some shadowcats to function, it seemed. The warrior watched as each of the three approached, making mental notes as they came. Shrewpaw - how was he still an apprentice? It had been moons since they had last trained together. Was there something holding the other tom back? Fallowpaw seemed to be another one of those silent, emotionless cats. The clan of shadows already had a surplus of them; it was no surprise that another had managed to appear out of nowhere. Lastly, Chickadeepaw - what a mouthful of a name. That must be an inconvenience for the she-cat's mentor. If Talonstone recalled correctly, the molly was one of the newest apprentices. He didn't have much to say to the felines that had gathered. The large warrior trusted that they had a basic understanding of rules and hunting, but he meowed just in case, "Don't wander off. You may spread out so long as I can clearly hear your yowl. Our destination is only a short walk towards the center of the pine forest. From there, you may hunt as you wish." With that said, Talonstone turned and led the small group into the cluster of pines. If for whatever reason, they decided not to follow, then that was their own faults. |
