Gingerpaw smiled in satisfaction when Dungpaw agreed to walk forward. "Are you sure?" Gingerpaw asked with a smirk. "Lots of cats are being swept away, and you're just walking." she stated as though she knew everything. "Walking slowly." she added, hoping to get him to get a move on. Not only was he probably going to drown. What about those queens? Kits? Elders? Other apprentices? They were all out there drowning. All those ShadowClan cats. What was Dungpaw doing? Walking slowly that's what! How was that supposed to help?

Dungpaw paused," No apprentice was swept away, but I'll walk at a regular pace if you prefer. I'm heavy enough to withstand the water." As he said that and was starting to walk faster he saw a warrior being dragging along the currents. His eyes grew wide," I'm going to die aren't I?" He asked

Elmpaw shook his head," If you keep moving you'll survive. You won't die with us helping you." I promised my mother I'd protect Dungpaw when she died a little while ago in the storm, I must keep that promise he reminded himself silently fighting the urge to sprint towards the border for safety.

Re: ShadowClan Evacuation

Spinekit was currently stuck up a tree. Not the best thing during a flood, especially when said tree was beginning to sink into the muddy ground and fall over. In the panic and roar of the pounding rain the thin, small cat hadn't heard the command to NOT seek shelter in trees. Spinekit was only 5 moons old and was currently terrified out of his mind. He didn't know how swim and the turbulent murky water was climbing ever higher towards his sinking safe spot. "Help!!" He yowled, his cries drowned out by a crack of lightning that raked its claws across the darkened sky. The thunderous boom the resounded horribly loud in the small cat's sensitive ears. The noise shaking the poor cat to his bones and made his wet, muddy fur stand on end.
Spinekit was shaking in both fear and cold as the hard rainfall and harsh winds chilled him to the bone. He gripped his tiny claws harder to the branches he was nestled in near the top of the old tree he was hiding in. The panicked kit yowled and yowled for help, praying to Starclan that someone would come to the rescue.

She kept her ears perked and her tail around the apprentice.

Wildpaw looked seeing some cats pass them. "We should get moving." She looked down, the water had risen quickly. If they stay there they would be in more trouble. She looked at Shortsoul, then at the water. "It's higher, I don't think this place will be dry for long!"

Wolfpaw declared loudly, trying to be heard over the crashing of the rain. "I'll carry your herbs if you like!" Rockkit spoke up eagerly. "I'll even build dens for your patients while we're up there. What do you say?" The large grey apprentice offered courageously.

Other cats were getting patients Daypaw didnt even think about their herbs. "Thank you," the enby said hasily. The clearing was destroyed, water rushing down like a black and murky swamp just to devour anything it touches. Mud, everywhere. Cats soaked at rain and thunder pour over head. "Both of you can help me carry some herbs, when we get to the top Ill help you start building some den for my patients." They mewed over the storm. Everything was loud and seemed to be ringing in their ears. They turned to them,"To do not eat anything, only hold it in your mouth, got it?" they didnt wait for a reply before they went into the den den, expecting the other cats to follow.

Screams for help, people calling family members that never made it up the hill, thunder and lightening crashing, colliding with the other sounds. The storm tried to drown the sounds along with the makers. He thought about this, and more fear filled him. Mud splashed on him, and he could feel the rain hitting harder, the wind howling like a wolf, and it seemed to answer itself back. The storm found prey, aemd it was his clan.

Daypaw kept scaling the hill, claws digging into the cold mud till their paws would hurt. Everything was so quiet yet so loud at the same time. You couldnt hear anything but the silent pour of the rain. How it overcasted over every single cat in sight, their pelts wet. Daypaw was shaking at this point. But it was also so loud. The raindrops felt like bullets, willing to knock anybody off of this hill for their own gain. Daypaw wouldnt let them. They had their eyes set on the top of the hill, and they finally reached it. Safety for Lambkit. On the top of the hill its where many cats were settled, there was a large tree that prevented from such heavy rainfall on them. Daypaw huffed, eyes tired and heavy. After settling to a relatively dry spot they placed the bird down that was limp in their jaws, and leaning over to grab lamb kit, tucking dry moss around him. Daypaw huffed, legs giving out and flopping next to Lambkit, eyes lidded with lack of sleep. "Lambkit, e-eat something okay? You need to eat."

The she cat nodded and looked every where , finally she found a very very high rock like structure and grabbed wildpaw by the scruff to carry her even tho she was a bit heavy ' starclan help us!!' Shortsoul thought as she ran and jumped over every piece of platform she could find not slipping one bit.

Amberstorm crept out of the camp and glanced around, rain still blocking much of her vision. However, she spotted a silhouette not too far up ahead. "I can see a nearby slope!" she answered to Whitestep. "It looks just high enough to get us out of the worst of the mud and flooding." Hearing the commotion behind her she turned around and peered through the camp entrance once more. "Are you alright, Whitestep? Do you need help?"

"I'm okay Amberstorm," she replied hastily. "Let's get to the slope." Moving more warily, Whitestep trotted beside Amberstorm, nudging her kits forward. The four kits stayed closer to the older she-cats. Whitestep squinted. "Is that the slope?" Her fur bristled with hope. "I think I can see it!"

A lame leg, and it made his heart twist for a moment. Everyone was gonna drown. She wasn't going to move fast enough--to save her life, and he meant that literally. The tom looked around. Back and forth, contemplating...thinking. If he left her there, he might feel guilty that every cat was panicking and moving forward, yet she was facing a near death situation. The tom was about to turn and run. Even if he didn't admit it, he was quite the selfish one. He was ready to leave out there, get somewhere dry...safe, but then, he turned back around. The downpour was heavy on his eyes, but he trudged back towards the feline. ''Hey!'' He called down to her, swallowing a large lump that was held in his throat. In all honesty, he was scared. Very scared of dying, but he also didn't want to feel guilty that he left someone behind. Who clearly couldn't save themselves. Who clearly needed help, so he jumped down, using his nose to nudged her flank, so that she would get up. ''Come on. I'll...help you.'' He sounded reluctant, as if he were scared to do so. ''Just...''He bent down, crouching into a hunting position. ''Get on my back! I'll run us up ahead!'' He told her. He just hoped that she wouldn't leave him hanging.

''Feather!'' Quietdance yelled, his deep voice echoing around him. ''Ambercrackle! Ashpaw! Creampaw!'' He was worried about his mate and kits. He didn't think the rain would cause their entire camp to flood. It scared him. It worried him. He had a pregnant mate that he left, and on top of that his daughter was pregnant! And, he didn't know where his sons were, but he was worried that they might have drowned. Quietdance always acted on impulse. If one of his loved ones were out there, the tom would had stayed until he found proof whether they were dead or alive. His fur was drenched, and he was cold since he didn't have a thick pelt. Oh no, his pelt was sleek and smooth, but the water kept hitting down on him. ''Feather!'' He spluttered, looking around as he tried to spot his mate. Scenting her was far from possible with so many of the wet pelts around him. Cats were in panic. They were grieving. They were scared. And, truth be told, Quietdance was also scared. Scared beyond matters that he might have lost one of his loved ones. He trekked on, going the opposite way of the yowling cats. He continued to go through the camp. Possibly, others around him thought he was crazy, but he wanted to see if his family was there. The rain was pounding, and the water was going high, but Quietdance never gave up. As long as he knew his kits and mate were safe. He would had never forgave himself if he lost them. Yes, he was a much older tom, but as long as he still had the strength, he refused to give up.

Spiderlegs gasped for air. The warrior was trying to hold on to life it self for only a few more minutes. The she cat had lost all hope until a large figure loomed over her. She perked her muddy ears forward to attempt to hear his commands. Spiderlegs was to tired from the trudge to even care who had came to save her. She just nodded when the low voice told her to get on his back. She came with the conclusion that it was a male due to the low voice. Spiderlegs did as command and threw one muddy paw over his shoulders and gave a big push from her left back leg. The warrior then hoisted herself up and crawled onto his back. Once positioned, she meowed, "Ok," in a very faint, exhausted whisper. She wrapped her paws around his lower neck so she wouldn't choke him. Spiderlegs then closed her eyes slightly in order to keep the energy she had left.

Sagegrowl froze mid-step. Rosekit didn't know about dying. The queen searched desperately for a way to tell her kit about it. In a way that wouldn't ruin her kits happiness. Finally she asked, "Rosekit, you know how your father isn't around?" Sagegrowl knew that the way she had introduced the topic might ruin Rosekit's happy mood a bit, but she didn't really mind. It was the best way she could think of. Plus, Rosekit needed to learn about it.

Gingerpaw opened her mouth, but Elmpaw took her words. "Elmpaw's right." she told Dungpaw, though her voice did not soften. It still had its sharp-tongued hardheaded tint in it. Gingerpaw wasn't a cat who comforted other cats. She was one that made sure cats did what they were supposed to. Keep in order. Not die. Keep moving. Stay alive. Gingerpaw stuck to that. She wasn't the most understanding cat, but she knew what she needed to do. She knew what needed to happen. And she did just that.
