Dreampaw flung herself up on the warriors shoulder, swinging her feet to land them on her lower back, narrowly avoiding the biting of Salmonsong in the process. She firmly gripped her shoulders, shoving downward with as much force as she could muster. |

Salmonsong felt Dreampaw get up on her shoulders, trying to be smart Salmonsong tried to rear onto her backlegs hoping to cause Dreampaw to loose her grip and fall, that move didn’t typically work with unsheathed claws, but when it was sheathed claws that move did work sometimes. |

Dreampaw tried to grip again as salmonsong stood up on her hind legs, failing and slipping to the ground, landing with a thump on her side. She tried to get up as fast as possible so Salmon wouldn't have the upperhand. (sorry! i didn't realize it was powerplaying >.<) |

Salmonsong spun around ready to face the apprentice she braced herself before attempting to fling herself onto Dreampaw curious to see how she’d handle her defense. |

(ack my bad) Quailsnap had led the young cat out with him to the training island. Once they reached it, he turned and faced Almondpaw. "Well, seeing as you haven't even seen the territory yet, I decided we can do that on our first hunting lesson. For now, I want to begin with teaching you some battle moves. Mainly defensive, as you never know when you're going to need them." Quailsnap knew tensions had been rising and falling erratically, and he knew that having a defenseless apprentice was the last thing he wanted. |

Ripplepaw watched as Rainydawn demonstrated the next move, wincing slightly at the forceful push downward at the end. "Stars, if you get caught in that.... oof." She commented with a small laugh, before shaking out her pelt. Did she want a demonstration? The demonstration would most likely be on her..... hmmm.... Yeah she'd go for it. Getting roughed up a bit never hurt anyone, right? Even if she got hurt she'd be fine. Ripplepaw had deducted that she was quite versatile when it came to most things, she was the way she was and survived this long, right? "A demonstration would be cool." She meowed, before shaking out her pelt and readying herself to charge forward. "I'm coming at you." She clarified, before bounding forward, leaping in the air right before she reached Rainydawn. She wondered if she could somehow miraculously turn this into some super legit cool move where she could take down Rainydawn, but she couldn't think of something quick enough, so just ended up falling straight for the she-cat with no idea as to what she should do beside be bonked on the head by Rainydawn, as demonstrated earlier. |

The gray apprentice would think a second once she’d righted herself. Do I need a sturdier stance? Like- so that if you went for my legs I wouldn’t topple? Her voice was unsure to say the least. |

Quailsnap gave a nod of approval. "That's good." He reassured, then flicked his tail, turning his blind gaze to the ground. "My teaching style is going to be a bit different, but I'll try my best to adjust, knowing you can see." The tom then awaited for Almondpaw's response, hoping the young cat was ready to begin. |
