Robinflight purred and got to her paws to make her way over to Petalwater. She started fussing over the bedding, making sure the fellow queen's nest was free of any other debris and fluffing it as much as she could so that Petalwater would be comfortable. "Thank you," She purred, glancing over at her two rascals. "I'm Robinflight, by the way." She added. "My little girl is Cardinalkit, and my boy is Crowkit. They're a handful sometimes, but worth it." She purred.

"I think I'm having about three kits." Petalwater said, lounging out on her new nest. "I'm still trying to come up with names. For toms, I like Fogkit and Crowkit, but you already have a Crowkit. For she-cats, I like Millipedekit, Periwinklekit, and Ripplekit."

"You think so?" Robinflight asked with a purr as she went back to loafing in her own nest, paws tucked comfortably beneath her chest. "I had no idea how many kits I was going to have! It felt like I would have a huge litter towards the end with how heavy I felt." The queen chuckled, remembering how tired she had been... though, she imagined that mourning during that time probably had not helped her energy levels.

"Hmm... I like Ripplekit as a boy or a girl name. I think it's my favorite out of the names you listed." She said encouragingly. "There are quite a few things you could choose from. It can be pretty hard to decide. I had a lot of names in mind... but once I saw these two, it felt like I knew what names to choose no matter how indecisive I had felt before." She purred.

[Make sure you check out the official names list before you pick their names, and check the allegiances for Windclan so you don't choose one that is already in windclan!]

Right! Silver linings, focus on the happy things! The farm was still there but it had wool, and that meant warmer, softer, and cleaner bedding for windclan. Moss and dried grass was nice, and the nursery got the addition of plucked feathers from windclans many prey birds, but wool? Wool was a class of its own.

So as bad as the farm was with Crowtooths giant bundle of wool gathered from it at least windclans nursery nests were getting an upgrade.

"Oooooooh kittens an' queens! I gotta gift fer yall! Wool, fresh wool, fer all yer nests~ Come git yer nice soft wool ta cuddle! Pspsppspspsps~"

Watching the kittens trip over themselves to claim some wool for their own shared nests with siblings or their mothers would be a nice pick-me-up for the stressed high rank too.

Featherkit ran as soon as she heard that. Featherkit was scared that she would not get there in time for some wool for her nest so she hurried.

"I want some! Please?" Featherkit decided that if she used her manors she probably would get some fluffy wool, "Pretty please with the warmest-fresh-kill-on-top?"

Maybe the warmest-fresh-kill-on-top was a little much but Featherkit did not care. All she cared about was warm wool in her nest tonight.

Ferncurl looked up from her nest, fern coloured eyes lighting up when she saw the wool. "Oh fantastic!" She meowed, standing up and padding over. The golden queen purred in delight as she felt the wool, and politely asked if she could have some for her nest; She'd give some to Moonkit too. "Thank you very much for the wonderful present, Crowtooth! The nests will be so much comfier." She'd have to show her sister, Dreamheart, later.

Robinflight stretched and yawned, woken from her nap from the deputy's call. She blinked a couple times to clear her bleary vision before nudging her kits with a purr. "Go on, go ask Crowfoot for some wool." She encouraged her kits. It was mostly Crowkit that she worried for, his shy and skittish nature stopping him from talking to other cats. She didn't even realize that Cardinalkit had already leaped out of the nest for a moment.

Cardinalkit, of course, was more than happy to approach the dark tom that had appeared with new bedding. Tail high and chest puffed out, the tortoiseshell padded up proudly. Naturally, she owned this nursery, so it was to be expected that she should get one of the first picks at the wool. She purred, looking up at the deputy. "Thank you!" She squeaked, as even royalty should be humble, sometimes. She tugged at a big ball of wool, probably about the same size as her, trying to get it back to where it belonged; her nest.

Crowkit, however, was slow to awaken. His yellow and blue eyes blinked slowly, a look of confusion as to why his nap had been disturbed certainly prominent on his face. Looking up at his mom, then over to Crowtooth, he realized with dread that he was meant to interact with this stranger. He swallowed dryly before slipping out of the nest. Watching his sister for a moment, he hesitated. He tried to remember what she had said, but wasn't sure he had noticed her ask. Oh, no. He really did not want to talk...

The little tom approached the deputy, dipping his head down and looking at his paws. "Could I have some, too?" The small kit asked nervously. Actually, come to think of it, maybe Cardinalkit had enough. He should just walk away... Unfortunately, his heart was racing again and his paws felt cold and unmoveable. Why did this have to happen so much? He envied his sister's ability to just roll with everything.

The molly tipped her grey head slightly as the deputy wondered in, his maw filled with wool, making him look like he had a large fluffy beard. They didn't really understand him. Provided she couldn't recall actually speaking to him, but his behaviours and mannerisms were pretty weird. Also, wasn't green leaf around the corner? She'd never seen green leaf before but it was supposed to be warmer weather, no? Why gather wool at this time of year? ..she did want some wool though. It was much softer to lay on than her current nest, and it meant she wouldn't wake up with grass in her fur. Careful, calculated and confident strides forward, they gingerly lifted a wad from the pile. It was only her in her nest, so she didn't take much. "thanks.." and with a little indication of their tail they added; "you have some stuck on your face."
