Birdy, hehe! She gave her a soft headbutt, seemingly reserved for mums only (her siblings would be receiving full force head bashes). Ah, there were more kits in here, weren't there?! She looked around, noticing that the nursey's population had infact been creeping back up, after her litter's move to apprenticeship. Still, it certainly felt a little quieter without them. "Good, I've been good!" She trilled, "I've learnt a lot!" A quick gasp, as she remembered everything that'd happened. "I went on a patrol! With Dapplebreeze, and Cottonpaw. Dapplebreeze is very nice. We caught a frog! Well, Cottonpaw caught a frog. But I chased the frog, and, I think, if I didn't chase it, well - hm. No I think Cottonpaw could have caught it without me. But. I think I made it quicker!" It seemed that every word exited her mouth right as she thought it.

"And I went on a herb patrol. With Vinesmoke. But..." A pause, irregular for her. "We had to go in the tunnells." She shook her head from side to side rapidly. "I didn't like that. Don't like the tunnells. Not nice in there." Sure, she could stomach them if she really wanted - like when she needed to get a big bug, for all the bug fighting. But... She really really didn't like it. The lack of space, all the dark, nowhere to run - EEK! Nope! She did not wnat to think about that anymore! What else what else what else... "Oh, I've done a bit of battle training, with Crowtooth. I wanna do more of that, it was fun!" Maybe when Falconbeak finally did another lesosn for her, that'd be it? So far, all he'd shown her was the territory. Which was fun, don't get her wrong - but she hadn't seen him in aaages.

Bravekit shredded a piece of moss with her claws, clearly frustrated. It was high time she became an apprentice with the rest of her siblings! She was making no progress here. Sure, Raccoonpaw and Coldpaw had taught her some stuff...but she needed a real mentor.

Maybe she would talk to Twilightstar about it...yeah...directly from the source! Surely she'd give her the mentor she deserved- someone strong and not to be messed with. But who would that be? Hm...

Petalwater suddenly felt a sharp pain in her swollen belly. The kits were coming! She yowled in pain. "My kits! They're here!" She needed the medicine cat! She knew Lightningstorm didn't really interfere with births, though. She needed someone, she didn't want to go through this alone.

Lilacbird happened to be in the nursery cleaning nests, and she came up to Petalwater. "Do you want me to stay with you?" she mewed concernedly. Maybe it's good to watch this. After all, I don't know what kitting will be like... @Craneflight

"Yes please..." Petalwater whined. She knew she sounded pathetic, but it hurt so much! A powerful spasm rippled through her body and she cried out. Spots danced in front of her eyes and she thought she might pass out from the pain. Her teeth ground together, and her eyes were squeezed tight.

"Hnnnnnnn-AAAAHh" Petalwater yowled. The first kit slid out, a bundle of fur and wetness. She began to lick its fur. Breathing heavily, she turned to Lilacbird. "Could you...bring a stick? I've seen Lightningstorm do that for...other queens." she panted.

Jasminepaw grabbed a mouse before trotting into the nursery. Her red eyes sparkling. "Mama?" She called, looking around for Leopardsong. "Are you free?" She hadn't spent some time chatting with her mother in some time, and right now she had a free moment. Besides, there was something she wanted to ask her about.

Heathernose shifted uncomfortably in her nest. Hopefully these kits would be coming soon, she really didn't like what it felt like being pregnant. Having kits? Great. Pregnancy? Not so much.
